35-year old Miles Mikolas is 2-5 this year with a 6.43 ERA. 32 K in 42 IP.

Mikolas took the loss against Milwaukee on April 20. He allowed 9 H, 3 HR and 5 ER in 4.2 IP. 

Bryse Wilson has 1.1 IP against Saint Louis this year. All in his April 20 relief appearance. No runs, hits, walks or strikeouts. Wilson earned the win as DL Hall went only 3.2 IP..

Brewers won 12-5 on April 20 on 18 hits.

Mikolas is more than hittable and the Cardinals lineup is riddled with players mired in horrible slumps.

Looks like this is an "acceptable" lineup today, so maybe people can traverse the IGT w/o having to wear their hip waders. Cards hit the ball a little bit yesterday, so this might be a good time to be getting them out of town. Even so, Mikolas has been, shall we say, vulnerable this year.

You kinda figured Turang would be inserted in the leadoff spot at some point, it's terrific to see he's done it w/o skipping a beat. Coulda/shoulda had 2 hits yesterday.

People on this chat board do seem to get pretty wound-up about the manager and players with a sample size of one game or one at-bat.

Guilty as charged 

I want to like Murphy … & I do as a person … but I’m not fond of him as a manager based on his line up & in game decisions 

He would be a great next door neighbor
