That is not a good sign for Bryse Wilson having 2 more days rest than Koenig. Sounds like a problem has arisen for Wilson.

Wilson isn't starting Friday against the Red Sox but is likely to follow opener Jared Koenig in relief.

Pat Murphy said the Brewers have mulled using an opener for some time and today's matchup against the Red Sox looked like the spot to try it. So, lefty Jared Koenig starts instead of Bryse Wilson, but Wilson is still expected to be involved tonight.

Great call by Murphy using Koenig as an opener. Boston has 3 LHH in their first 4 hitters who absolutely crush RHP and are bad against LHP.

Duran - 135 wRC+ vs RHP, 80 wRC+ vs LHP

Abreu - 149 wRC+ vs RHP, 41 wRC+ vs LHP

Devers - 187 wRC+ vs RHP, 81 wRC+ vs LHP

Three effective LH in the pen. Obviously they should all be available tonight so this makes perfect sense. 

Of course, after three days w/o Turang, Bauers & Frelick in the starting lineup, if Koenig gives up a run or two against their lefties tonight the IGT will grow by about 3 pages lol.

so do I. the graphical presentation is clean, easy to read, and doesn't distract from the game. announcers are meh, but the overall presentation is really solid.

I’m not sure if that is the “deeper” voice guy…but the other “whiny” voice is annoying to me. But,I like the other guy.

Love the presentation and some of the stats they give are nice. Clean and crisp. Announcers are blah. Sideline lady is a smokeshow. What else do you want?
