What a great win! Wilson, Peguero, Chourio hit the ball hard, Ortiz HR, Turang and Adames with great D.

I wonder if any of the stats experts on this site have looked at the % of innings that the Brewers have scored at least one run, and how that compares to the league average. Right now, it seems like the offense has a lot of scoreless innings, but they're getting by on the crooked number.

I suspect that % of non-scoreless innings is highly correlated with runs per game.

Scored in 3 of the 8 innings tonight, but no crooked ones….

How Is Your hero Craig Counsel doing these days?  About 10 games behind the Brewers. LOL

The Counsell thing has been undersold nationally. It is a huge dynamic given they are the arch enemy and they are getting drug through the streets by the Brewers without him. It's really an incredible story year to date.

The brewers have really been such an enjoyable watch this year.    They play like crap this weekend but then come back with two solid games to get right back on track again

So unexpected but fun.   Plus there are more exciting players to follow than some of the retreads in the lineups in the past.

Man, you aren't kidding Murphy was always the teacher.

I believe that is because Chicago is such a big market compared to Milwaukee. I say keep it quiet till the playoffs. Then we have to deal again with the Phillies and Dodgers.

Bryse is only at 59 pitches.  If the offense can score some runs he could finish the game and save the bullpen.

In postgame, Murphy said if they scored runs in the 8th Wilson was probably coming back out.

Wilson is such a perfect guy to use an opener for. Was afraid they wouldn't use one w/Koenig unavailable. Glad Milner threw two innings; gave up a couple hard hit balls vs a couple talented hitters but IMO he was OK.

Four pretty hard hit balls by Chourio. Love how he's looking to go to right. I thought he was omitting that from his approach for awhile now.

Damn, Pegueros' slider must've been vicious. Up until the HBP, quite a few bad looking swings from a couple of pretty good bats.

Lets oil up the brooms.
