The Cubs playoff hopes have hit a snag the last few days as the Mets hot streak has put both the Mets and Braves 4.5 games ahead.in the race for the last wild card spot. 

The Cardinals can move into a tie with the Cubs for second in the division with a win tonight.

I’m ok with the offense breaking out of this funk sooner than later……Montas is rolling….need to get him a little cushion so one mistake doesn’t hurt.

Our offense lately suggests we might get two so they can use up additional pitching in extra innings.  Where they'll put together some of the worst at bats this side of AA.

Like the Cubs playoff hopes, the Brewers hopes for getting a bye are looking pretty slim with the schedule they have coming up.
