I don't think the Steelers are going to do much. But I'm glad Aaron isn't lifeless and they should probably make the playoffs, which is a more dignified exit and I'm glad he's going to go out that way.

Man, this Jets offensive line is horrendous. Fields consistently has only two seconds in the pocket or he's getting sacked.

Fields is just a bad QB.  He has a hard time going through his progressions.  He is so so so so so slow at going through his progressions that he misses wide open receivers and then gets sacked or tries to run with the ball.  It was a problem in Chicago and it was a problem in Pittsburgh.

I’m really glad the Packers play in the NFC so the Chiefs aren’t really consequential to us unless we reach the Super Bowl. I’d be absolutely sick watching them as another AFC teams’ fan and seeing how many 3rd and 4th and goals they get bailed out on with penalties.

Wow, what a gag job by the Giants. Blew a 19 point 4th quarter lead, including a missed XP to set up the game winning field goal. 33 point 4th quarter for Denver.

All that "Tank for Arch" talk and I haven't seen him in the first round on a single mock draft yet.

Oh... I saw him 1-1 in a whole bunch...

And then Texas started playing games.

He DOES have better physical tools than Eli and Peyton, so easy to see why he had the hype.

What NFL kicker misses a 53 yarder short these days?

Funny to bring this up. I had the full 2010 NFC championship game on YouTube playing in the background today. There's a point in the game where the Bears are down 14-0 and drive to the Packers 31. The drive stalls and it's 4th and 6 or something. They punt the ball instead of attempting a 48 yarder. The punt sails a good 8 yards into the end zone. Netting them 11 yards of field position rather than going for it.

Thats crazy. Don’t remember how cold it was that day, were they out there kicking solid rocks?

The North is a 2-horse race. Minnesota doesn't have it this year, the Bears I think are a solid team capable of beating us once but I don't think they can win it outright.

I think Detroit looks better than us, at a minimum they're far more explosive offensively right now...but obviously we beat them. We got very fortunate catching week 1. I don't feel super great about our odds beating them on the road on Thanksgiving.

The Vikings went into 2025 assuming that any QB would fit into their “system” and they are paying dearly for it.

I also think they fell victim to assuming their every other year cycle of an inflated record then crashing back down to earth the next year wasnt going to continue.

Their line permanently sucks and their defense is gimmicky and overly blitz-happy because their personnel isnt good enough to hold up without tricking good offenses.

That says alot about how comfortable the vikes have been letting McCarthy practically grow a new ankle the past 5 games watching Wentz continue to suck.

I believe that was when Robbie Gould was automatic inside 45 yards, but couldn't kick anything close to 50

Getting Watson and Reed into the mix makes the Packers offense alot more explosive with a decent line, too.  I think the Lions are really good, but as has been pointed out twice on the road on grass fields, their offense can be held in check.  At home that team is a different animal.

The Lions are fine, but honestly, they have looked very good against bad teams and meh against good teams. They have some young guys on the O-line, so it's very possible they will improve as the season goes along. And I think they got Ford back on the DLine recently.

Minnesota is 3-4 and one source has them with the weakest schedule so far this year and the hardest remaining schedule.

They still have two games against the Packers and Lions, plus one against the Bears, Seattle, Washington, Dallas.

I said in the offseason that they could easily regress depending on QB play and whether McCarthy is ready.  And that is coming to fruition.

Annihilated Tampa in the trenches. That was a better game than we've had since we beat them.
