Still have him over Jesus on account of proximity and the chance he manages to stick as a potential top of the rotation SP.
  2. Jesus Made
Crazy that he has maybe even exceeded already redonkumongous expectations.
  3. Cooper Pratt
Holding his own as one of the youngest players in the Southern League. Interesting profile change with a 8.5 BB% | 9.6 K% | .159 ISO so far this year versus a career 10.2 BB% | 20.0 K% | .125 ISO entering the season.
  4. Logan Henderson
Dazzled in his MLB debut. Work on that slider/cutter in Nashville and wait for the call.
  5. Braylon Payne
Best OF prospect in the system. Just love seeing this kid succeed, especially after all the consternation over the pick in the draft thread.
  6. Luis Pena
As nuts as Jesus has been maybe even more nuts that Luis has continued to keep pace.
  7. Jeferson Quero
    Injury Holding Pattern.
  8. Craig Yoho
    Getting acclimated to MLB.
  9. Chad Patrick
Has held his own for an injury riddled rotation.
  10. Robert Gasser
    Injury Holding Pattern.
  11. K.C. Hunt
Results aren't quite there yet here at the outset, but best combination of stuff/proximity after Misio/Henderson.
  12. Bishop Letson
Pretty dominant 1.65 ERA / 2.08 FIP in early Midwest League action.
  13. Bryce Meccage
Holding his own 2.92 ERA / 3.65 FIP in first taste of full season ball.
  14. Caleb Durbin
Has helped solidify an ugly 3B situation in Milwaukee.
  15. Ernesto Martinez
Raking in Nashville waiting for a call.
  16. Josh Adamczewski
Destroying the Carolina League, have to imagine he'll se Wisconsin soon.
  17. Marco Dinges
Bat looks ready for Wisco, will just depend on how the catching part comes along.
  18. Carlos F Rodriguez
Has been lights out in Nashville with his 1.26 ERA and 2.66 FIP ranking 3rd and 5th among 55 International League pitchers with at least 20 IP at the time of this typing.
  19. Luke Adams
He and Brock Wilken have matching .169 AVG | .183 ISO at the moment. Give Adams the edge for being two years younger and having a more stable looking 13.5 BB% | 19.1 K% compared to a 25.5 BB% | 28.6 K% for Wilken.
  20. Eric Bitonti
Strikeouts (34.4 K%) and zero HR are a little concerning, but his eight doubles are tops in the Carolina League so hopefully a little breakout is forthcoming.

Dang, what a tough vote. Easily another ten pitchers (Cornielle, Hardin, Rodriguez, Holobetz, Gillis, Bjorn, Travis Smith, Melvin Hernandez, Stiven Cruz) and five position players (Areinamo, Alastre, Di Turi, Burke, Wilken) that have made legit cases for those last few spots after Dinges at #17 in the early going.

And that's not even mentioning the injury holding pattern guys like Coleman that just came back or Black/Boeve who are yet to play and have been Top 5 to 10 org guys in the past. Or Knoth who we won't be seeing again until next year.

Then you've got the new crop of DSL guys (Antunez, Fenelon, Acosta) and ACL guys (Anderson, Corobo, Ortuno) that we have to look forward to later in the summer. Fun stuff.

Adams and Adamczewski are the odd men out for me, as I've made room for Patrick, Durbin and Letson. I was high on Henderson and Manuel Rodriguez in prior lists, so I'm pleased they're continuing to progress.

I'm not giving up on Hunt despite a relatively slow start to 2025. But I have dropped Wilken (15th in my last list).

this was tough, but it was also really fun. What an interesting group of prospects. There is a lot of depth. There are 6-8 really strong prospects. Recent high draft picks don't look great, but recent well-over-slot lower round picks. And also, what do you do with prospects that were top ten prospects but didn't show a ton in their debuts and/or got hurt and have missed significant time. I'm very curious to see what these rankings look like.

Areinamo, Patrick, Wichrowski, Wilken and M. Rodriguez just missed and are on the same tier as 16-20. As much as I am looking forward to Anderson , Ortuno, Corobo and Encarnacion getting going in the ACL and Fenelon and Antunez debuting in the DSL, it is tough for me to have them crack the top 25 right now. I considered Dinges as well, but the likelihood of sticking behind the plate would have to go from possible to probable or he'd have to display this offensive aptitude at a higher level before I would have him crack this group. If the Brewers weren't still having Luiyin Alastre hitting behind Walling in the Mudcats order, I might have snuck him at least higher on the also-ran list.

60 OFP Struggling to stay healthy thus far, but all bad luck injuries. Production has been there for him already and he looks the part.
  2. Jeferson Quero
55 OFP Just need him to get healthy and see what the arm looks like. If the arm is still there, I still believe he’s got a chance to be an all-star level catcher.
  3. Luis Pena
55 OFP Wow, he looks incredibly advanced at the plate for an 18 year old in full-season ball. His swing is explosive and after maxing out at 106 MPH EV’s last year he’s already shown higher than that multiple times. Very athletic and looks the part defensively, despite some iffy errors thus far. He’s a T100 type of prospect, if not T50.
  4. Jacob Misiorowski
55 OFP I think there’s a pretty decent chance he sticks as a starter at this point… The zone rate is up over 50%, and the delivery is as repeatable and mechanically sound as I’ve seen it. It feels like the worst case scenario for him at this point is a souped-up, younger version of Trevor Megill with his fastball, curveball combo. That’s not even mentioning the slider.
  5. Braylon Payne
50 OFP He’s been extremely impressive so far, in fact he could probably be in the 55 tier. The power is showing up (HR with a 110 MPH EV!), the speed is evident on the bases and in center. Defensively the instincts are lacking a bit, and he’s had multiple miscommunications out there, but that can be cleaned up. He has 5 tool potential.
  6. Cooper Pratt
50 OFP I love Pratt and he doesn’t look out of place at all in AA as one of the younger players at the level. I don’t think he has the ceiling of most of the players above him, but the floor is pretty high. There’s a good chance he’s an everyday SS, which is very valuable.
  7. Logan Henderson
45+ OFP Still hoping to see at least one of the cutter/slider offerings become a solid third pitch, but we saw in his debut how good it can look when the fastball and changeup are working. Two borderline plus pitches.
  8. Bishop Letson
45+ OFP I love me some Bishop Letson. We’ve seen him into the mid-90’s with the most extension in all of MiLB, helping the velo play up even more. He throws both a 4 and a 2 seam fastball, has a filthy slider and a decent changeup. The command is going to be there. I think ceiling wise, he’s got the second highest for pitchers behind Miz.
  9. Robert Gasser
45+ OFP Not much to say here, we saw that he can perform in MLB, just need him to get healthy and hopefully return to where he was.
  10. Craig Yoho
45+ OFP He’s just filthy. I can’t imagine it will be very common for me to put a reliever in my top 10, but Yoho has forced my hand. He’s not going back to AAA anytime soon.
  11. Mike Boeve
45 OFP Boeve needs to get healthy, but I really believe in the bat and I think there’s power that is going to start to show in games. Hopefully can handle third enough to make that an option for him defensively.
  12. Eric Bitonti
45 OFP As much raw power as I have seen from a Brewers prospect. Mostly showing in doubles in 2025, those will be homers soon. There’s a bit more of a hit tool than you’d think, though swing and miss will be a big part of his game. He seems to adjust very well pitch to pitch.
  13. Josh Adamczewski
45 OFP I’m nothing if not an Adamczewski truther. I really think he is going to hit his way to the big leagues eventually. The defense at second is solid enough, and he has good instincts in the field. Also has noticeably hustled to back up bases multiple times, saving bases/runs and even recording some extra outs.
  14. Luke Adams
40+ OFP Not surprising that he has struggled early at AA. Throw in a swing simplification (read: swing change) and it’s even less surprising. I still think that he will figure it out as he adjusts. He had a bit of a slow start in High-A as well.
  15. K.C. Hunt
40+ OFP Struggling a bit early on, but the stuff still looks pretty good. I do have slight concerns about how the fastball will play, but at the same time, the secondaries are so good. May have jumped the gun a bit on him last year, but he’s still a legit SP prospect.
  16. Brailyn Antunez
40+ OFP Hearing good things from down in the DR. He’s popping a decent amount of 100 MPH EV’s and showing pop. He’s a great athlete and I really like his swing. Very excited to see how he performs in the DSL.
  17. Bryce Meccage
40+ OFP Up and down in his first few pro starts, but you can see the stuff is there. Fastball in the mid-90’s, breaking balls look really good and the kick-change is a pretty nice pitch as well. Command has come and gone so far which is not surprising for a HS pick early in his career.
  18. Brett Wichrowski
40 OFP Hope to see him healthy soon. Rollercoaster 2024, but he adjusted well to AA by the end of the season. The stuff is good, the slider/sweeper is filthy. Excited to see what he looks like now that he’s more well-adjusted to the level.
  19. Josh Knoth
40 OFP Out for the season. Showed nice flashes last year. Probably punishing him too much here, but I do worry a bit about the developmental timeline for him after TJ. The fastball played really well last year and he can really spin the breaking balls. Changeup a big time WIP. Command also a WIP. Will be interesting to see what he looks like next year.
  20. Brock Wilken
40 OFP He’s impacting the ball decently, but he seems way too passive to me. Almost 60% of his PA’s have ended in a K or BB. Defense has looked really solid at third base. Some signs of a bounceback, but not enough to get super excited.

I'll go T50 this time with my OFP tiers for the players:

Interesting that Carlos Rodriguez made the list over Chad Patrick when they are the same general kind of pitcher but one is taking care of business in MLB versus AAA.

Also surprised Black came in higher ranked than EMJ considering Ernesto raked to end last year, and then again in spring training and continuing through to Nashville versus Black being underwhelming and now hurt for going on a year now

Mildly shocked Wilken, Lara and Knoth all held onto spots between injury and spotty performance when so many other players of the same calibre are healthy and producing right now.

Hard for me to include Mike Boeve too as a guy who is currently hurt and was trending towards being a contact only 1B prospect pre-injury, much less still in the Top Ten.

Thought I'd be in the minority with Misio over Made, but looks like that wasn't the case either.

As for the injured players, I can't speak for others, but I generally just leave them at the same tier unless it is an injury that typically affects performance once the players come back.

With Lara, we've been spoiled with how fast other prospects have moved up successfully lately. Very few prospects from his signing class have reached AA, and outside of BABIP, his numbers are pretty much in line with someone like Nelson Rada of the Angels.

For me the surprise was Bishop Letson not being higher. He was comfortably in the top 9 for me with a clear tier break beneath him and Gasser. After them, 10 through about 30 were fairly tightly bunched.

Thought about keeping Knoth on the end of the list (he’s clearly got higher upside than CarRod for instance) but with that rehab timeline we won’t have any idea where he’s really at for over a year still and probably closer to sometime in 2027 when he presumably will be looking to stay healthy for a full season at AA (will that be his R5 year too? if so makes his recovery timeline that much more important).

Lara is a 5th OF for me until he shows more consistency impacting the ball. Being so young for AA and the defense are huge pluses for him, but I’m not sure how much physical projection is in there. He’s got 600 PAs now of unimpressive BABIP between last year and the start of this year.
