I know he isn’t hitting but I continue to be impressed with the accuracy of Ortiz’s arm……every throw seems to be right on the money.

Which is nice when Hoskins is playing first…..😎

I’m confident Ortiz will hit again … hopefully soon

Hoskins is ranked 19th out of all 40 1st base starters in the MLB at 1st.

Should've pulled him

Yeah of course you say that but if he got out of it, you would have been ok with not pulling him.

People wonder why Murph usually has a short leash on Patrick.  This is why.

Lol the guy pitches great the whole game, and he gives up a home run and all of a sudden you are the leash expert lol

You could see right as the batter made contact that Patrick knew he made a mistake. He didn't make many tonight.

Offense was likely going to need more than 4 so time to get some ABs together.

I hate it when announcers say that a pitcher “just made one mistake“.

They just got done talking about how Patrick was leaving some pitches up in the strike zone but was getting away with it

10 seconds later, he leaves a pitch up and gives up a home run, and suddenly that’s the only mistake he’s made all night.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Brendan Rodgers is exactly the type of distressed asset we need to be targeting for fixing the atrocious left side of the IF.

I do agree with that!!!!

Can we add Mears to the list of trade deadline successes yet?

Yes we can with a 0.68 ERA.  Success in my eyes and Hader wishes.
