Keep waiting for the pitching roster jam, but the injuries remain stubborn.

Still, Civale, Hall, and Ashby all pitched for Nashville tonight.  Civale appears ready to return first, but all three are tracking strong.

If we end up needing to play musical chairs with our rotation, I assume we let the veterans pitch and tuck the younger players back in Nashville until 2026 or after the trade deadline.

Quintana, Woodruff and Civale all deserve rotation spots. If Civale pitches well enough, does he get us a lottery ticket at the deadline?

Hall should get a chance to start.

Ashby can probably try starting again, too.

Gasser we can be patient with until 2026.

Cortes and Connor Thomas we probably don’t need to worry much about. Thomas presumably gets another shot, though?

Misiorowski last pitched on Thursday, and Tuesday's probable is listed as "undecided". Any chance of Misiorowski making his MLB debut that night? I ask only because I have tickets for that night!

I would guess WED if he gets the call.

Brewers prefer to give guys five days between starts as much as possible and TUE would only be four.

You should be lined up for Henderson if that’s any consolation though.

I would take Henderson! My dad will be at Wednesday's game, and would be ecstatic over seeing Misiorowski if it happens. I can't help but dream about a starting rotation of Peralta, Miz, Patrick, Henderson, and maybe Woodruff next year if he were to stick around.

Nothing earthshaking about his numbers, but maybe Hook can check under the hood and fine tune the engine. He’s done it before.

Liked him a lot last year.  Can't believe he only threw 7.2 IP for us.  Felt like more, maybe because the 3 opener starts.

Can't blame them for letting him go (then Cubs and now Yanks did too), given he was an injured 33 year old journeyman.  Not sure how long he stays with the rehab assignments ongoing.  Big show of the lack of confidence in Hudson as well.

Time to get a look at our latest AAAA guy.

After how he performed in short stints last year & the health history, I'd keep Ashby as far away from starting as I could (save for spots as an opener of course). But it looks like the organization may be thinking otherwise.

Feel bad for Carlos Rodriguez. If they don't want to start him in the majors, at least give him a chance in long relief.  That's not to take away anything from Easton, who had a slow start but has really come on.  It will be interesting to see what he can do after they gave him a 2 year minor league contract to last year to give him time to recover from his injury.  He's a minor league free agent after this season if he is not retained on the 40 man roster.  He has 2 options left.

He's probably getting called up to start next week in the spot Myers just pitched in.

Ashby’s made four rehab appearances so far…1.1 IP on the complex (no pitch count available) then a pair of two inning outings (41 and 34 pitches) before one inning / ten pitches his last time out.

Days between appearances were 3, 3, then 2.

Looks like they are prepping him for a relief role, which would be my preference too.

Why not Tyler Jay, Rob Z and McGee are fine buy Jay has a 0.64 era. On top of that we rostered him to lose Shane Smith. Do we maybe think Rob Z and McGee are just placeholders for Ashby and Civale and if we lose them to waivers (McGee probably has options) oh well.

Well they only need him or Miz not both right?

Freddy, Henderson, Priester and Patrick are already here.

Yeah only one and I'd bet it will be Rodriguez.

Ok…..I just wanted to make sure what you were saying.

it will be an interesting decision……one guy on the 40 and pitching very well but the other guy is pitching out if his mind of late and is the most exciting pitching prospect we’ve had since?

If I had the choice it would definitely be Misiorowski. I just think it won't be him. Feel like if he was making his next start in MLB it would already be known.

Yes Carlos pitching way better than last season with an ERA at 1.99  I'd say it's time for a call up.  Brewers seem dicombobulated this season.

Listening to Arnold it didn’t sound like it’s going to be Miz this week.
