Long time lurker, occasional poster on other forums back in the day, now an expat in the Middle East.  Never seen anything like this!  82 I was a kid.  2011 and 2018 were fun, but what else compares to this?  Came back to the States this summer and caught the second Cubs game.  The last win before this streak started, I guess.  Love the conversations I see here every day.  You all help keep me connected to the Crew!

Nice name, too!  Smell the Glove and Shark Sandwich, those were some good ones.  Intravenus de Milo, I'm not so big on.

It was either that, or Gimme Some Money.  Maybe today it should have been, Gimme some Burgers.

And Baseball America just ranked the Brewers farm system #1. This is going to fun for a while.

There's a lot of good feelings between Big Woo and the Brewers organization, esp,. since the organization kept faith during the injury. But money almost always wins the day.

Woody also has to weigh the risks of going to another organization that does not know his injury history, rehab program or may not agree with how the Brewers have used him, and does not have the pitching lab, medical staff, and pitching coaches the Brewers do.  There could be a lot of risk with reinjury going to another organization.  While contracts are guaranteed, Woody might want to end his career on his own terms.

That, and the Brewers may be the best bet to win the World Series not only this year but for several years.

But when are we going to really go for it?

Not until they prove themselves at the trade deadline apparently. But hey, what do I know, I've been told I'm not a true fan.

That after graduating Durbin, Collins, and Patrick.  Not that any of them were rated super high, but all have been in the top 5 NL ROY odds at some point.  MLB ranked the system #4 after they also bumped Misiorowski (BBA's #4 overall prospect).
