September can be even harder to,predict than other months because you can never be sure what a team’s motivation will be. Some teams that are out of contention will just go through the motions while others will load up on younger, hungry Players who will relish playing the role of spoiler.

Playoff contenders will have incentive until they have their spot locked up, but then might coast to the finish. Other contenders might fold up when their once seemingly comfortable position starts to slip away 

For the Brewers I am concerned about the status of the pitching staff as SP keep delivering short starts and once reliable relievers are either out with injuries or are now less effective because of heavy use. 

I’ll say 12-12.

My prediction is they don't have a game on September 30th, that's all that matters to me.

11-13. They end up at 96-66 and win the division (and lock down the 1 seed) by 1 game. The pitching staff and the bullpen usage is a concern.

10-14. Bullpen is worn down. They get rested for the playoffs. Lots of off days for regulars to keep them rested. These will cost 1-2 games in Sept.

Cubs need to go 21-4 in September to get to 99 wins.

Every pitching staff is tired this time of year.

They seem to go WWLL, so i’ll go 12-12 which gets them 97 wins which I think wins the division and gets #1 or #2 seed. Cubs would have had to go 19-6 which is not impossible but very unlikely. Same for Phillies and Dodgers like 20-5 or 21-4 as well
