But my post mostly meant the regular season, and the important thing is that none of these ABs will correlate to whether or not we win the WS.

Do they really celebrate those things too? Name another sport where teams celebrate anything short of a Finals berth. One of the most ridiculous things in sports, and I'm not surprised it happens in baseball.

I have a feeling that there have been some marketing things with the Brewers that have caused them to lose their focus. Perhaps Murphy needs to talk to Rick Schlesinger and say, “I’m done with these appearances.“ After this weekend, they need to focus on nothing but baseball.   Your skipper needs to set the example and the Brewers have turned into more of a marketing joke over the last couple weeks.

Murphy will level set the Brewers and they will come out firing next weekend.

I frankly can't see how Gasser AND Miz could be off the post season roster given Woody is basically done. The bullpen is not full of names I trust so at least give me big arms.

While not optimistic at all, I really don't care how they finish the season per se. They could end up red hot and lose it all with the off days. Look at the 2023 Braves, finished a respectable 7-3 averaging nearly 7 runs per game. Then lost in four games while scoring a whopping 8 runs.

Because more than one thing can be true despite the box this board tries to fit everything into.  It is possible to consider this a good season and have "enjoyed the ride" and still be utterly disappointed that they haven't reached the ultimate goal.

That's another problem this team has. Even if the offense comes along, we have Peralta, Priester, and who else in our starting rotation? How many bullpen games can this team play to the World Series title?
