Right-hander Seth Lugo has a career 2.31 ERA against Milwaukee over 23 1/3 IP. The Brewers last faced Lugo on May 7, 2024 at Kauffman Stadium. Lugo went 6.2 IP allowing 5 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 2 HR with 5 K. The Brewers won 6-5 as Lugo got a no decision.

Brandon Sproat is expected to make his second start of the season. He has not previously faced the Royals during his career.

Let’s go Sproat!  Rough first outing this year, but plenty of time to turn it around.  As Ted Lasso would say, be the goldfish!!

Curious to see how this works out, but you knew Logan was going to pitch pretty much no matter what, so fine to give him a start.

Testament to the organizational depth that the 27th man is a guy with solid MLB experience.

Brice ultimate team player, used up all those Ks in game 1 when he knew the rest of the team would be fine. Now he brings the bat

I never really get the Mitchell hate. Yah he K’s a lot, but he also mashes the baseball too. 
 

Might stop him from being a starter, but I think he can be a really good 4th OFer.

K's aside, I've viewed him as a starter. Just wish the guy could stay healthy. The ceiling for Mitchell is incredible, IMO.

I noticed a lot of the young men are now sporting what I like to call the "goose"  mustache from the original top gun.

I still think being a type 1 diabetic makes it that much more difficult to stay healthy.
