Right-hander Kevin Gausman starts for Toronto. Gausman has pitched well throughout his career against Milwaukee with a 1.51 ERA and 41 K over 35.2 IP. Gausman has been exceptionally good this season, striking out 40.6% of batters while only walking 3.1% of batters. 

Jacob Misiorowski pitches for Milwaukee. Miz has struck out 41.8% of batters this season but walked 13.4%. Misiorowski was excellent in his last start until walking the bases loaded in the 6th against Boston. Miz has more strikeouts than any other pitcher in baseball who has only made three starts, so far. Unfortunately, Gausman and Cease (tomorrow's starter) are right behind Miz in 2nd.

I was hoping for Lara just to see him play but Jones is probably the right move since we have enough OF depth. To bad Wilken or Adams weren't of to hot starts, they would fit the DH mold better for a week or two.

He can fly, like a lot of the people in the organization. But he Ks quite a bit which I'm sure is a large part of the reason why he's only had two very brief cups of coffee in the bigs.

Totally agree. Hell, if it's a DH role they even could've rolled the dice with Ramon Rodriguez.

A tornado warning was just issued for Milwaukee, including Am Fam.  I can't ever remember an active tornado warning during a game, I'm a little surprised they're not delaying the game.

I miss when Jake Bauers was the whipping boy on this offense rather than one of the better offensive pieces.

Luis Matos has a .282 OPS. Not his  batting average or even his OBP. His OPS.
