He took at least an entire inning of his start tonight.

Remind me again how Vaughn isn’t a non-tender candidate in the offseason.  I know we can’t trade him now with the Bauers injury.

vaughn is a DH trying to play in the field.

Eat a Waffle Murphy.  Maybe take a class on in-game management and we’ll take you seriously :P

Isn’t it a pancake?  Side note to that: Pancakes are the worst of all batter/bread based breakfast foods

Yes.  It’s definitely a soggy pancake.

One of my friends fell out of bed doing the soggy pancake in college

I would see what we can get at the deadline for him.

There might be a team willing to give a middling prospect on the condition we eat the remaining $68 million or so owed on that contract.

You usually keep those types of stories to yourself. Why tell your friends?

That is still a position where you’re more likely to come up with runners on base.

Ive said all along that IMHO, if Yelich is going to be in the lineup at all, leading off is the best spot for him. He has a better chance of getting on base than driving in runs

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Almost any spot in the Brewers' lineup is going to have a chance to drive in runs. Does Yelich really need the most ABs on the team in the leadoff spot?

We’d get a “no, I’m not waiving my no trade clause.”

Why in the f is .714 OPS Yelich batting cleanup?

because he isn't batting lead-off.

Beautiful swing & placement by Chourio to give the Brewers the early lead

Pitch wasn’t even a strike but can’t really blame him for forcing the issue given the two guys after him batting 3rd and 4th have little to no shot at doing anything.
