I hope Yelich returns to Milwaukee in 2027 as the highest paid pitching coach in MLB. We could use his roster spot for one of our young studs. He was an incredible Brewers player in his prime. He remains an exemplary team leader. He offers nothing to this offense.

If Henderson can keep limiting homers to solo shots, he can generally survive that in most starts. Holding a WHIP under 1.00 (few walks) is impressive so far for him in the bigs.

My biggest concern for the offense in the playoffs is that Christian Yelich is going to get far too much playing time.

And, as I've said, in the top 4 of the order. That's what worries me most if he's not hitting.. that he's going to get a lot of at bats in spots where it's a run production spot and he's just not that.

Agreed. He missed his window last night to do the right thing…retire from active play. 
 

what saddens me is that with all this lack of production, I have not seen one sign of an adjustment he’s made at the plate. What do these hitting coaches do exactly? At this point wouldn’t you try almost anything?

and far too many at bats in the top half of the lineup.  I'm not kidding when I say, when he plays, he should be hitting #9,  No higher than 7, for any reason.

It's actually funny at this point...  He probably can't wait to leave Milwaukee for a team that appreciates what he has to offer.  My guess is that his power will return to normal next season as he gets further away from that hamate injury.
