It's clear that you are offended by this because you said you aren't able or willing to spend on this. I just have a different perspective on it and that's alright. I hope the team makes it so our fans have these tough decisions to make. Go Brewers.

Uhhhh...weird take, but an incredibly inaccurate one.

I take objection to your thesis that money spent = loyalty to team, literally equating spending money with how "diehard" someone is.

I am sure there are lots of people who want to go, but are unable. Since you seem interested, trust that I am very far from that circumstance, but I wouldn't ever say someone who is, is less loyal to the team than you, me, or anyone else.

You aren't offering a "different perspective." You are judging others, there's a difference.

I mean I can’t blame people not wanting to pay $1k to watch a 105mph grain of sand and wonder if it was down the middle or 2 feet outside.

certainly there is nothing worse than football in person…but baseball has its drawbacks too.

Most everything is worse in person due to the space eaten by ads. When you see all the stopping in person, as well as what you've pointed out, most events are worse and rely on atmosphere, which I'd hope the WS would provide.

Soccer is 100x better than on TV, but that's really the only one I can think of.

I watched the NLDS outside the stadium on the two screens they have to experience the atmosphere and tailgate beforehand. It was pretty good because of the weather and they had the game on a live stream versus a delay plus could play some mini golf during the breaks in action. However, it sounds like they already ended that with game 2 of the NLCS.

Hockey is a zillion times better live.     Football is drastically better on TV. I'd agree baseball for sure is too as you see the pitch so much better.  Basketball I can see the debate either way.     I'm an experiences person though, so I do put value in being there even though actual viewing of the game is worse.

I also agree that just because someone can't afford over $1000 doesn't make them any less of a fan or if they think watching in TV is a better experience doesn't make them less of a fan

Forgot about hockey. Although a playoff power play is also just excellent TV.

I love live football, but I think coaching experience helps me see things very differently than maybe the average fan does. Still can't beat the overall view from the recliner at home.

I've been spoiled with the two postseason Brewers games I've been to, but the experience is SO worth it. 2018 game NLDS game two and game 1 vs the Padres last week were both Brewers wins and exciting games to be at. I would (and have) encourage any Brewer fan to pay the extra $ to get a taste of that. I was in the Terrace level both games. Absolutely worth it. The experience between a regular season Brewer game and a postseason game is vastly different.

Is the world series worth 1600 dollars for a terrace ticket? It probably is, but my family doesn't have that kind of extra cash, so I won't be taking part in that. Too bad, so sad.

Received an e-mail this morning for a presale with a personalized code.  Any one else receive this?

Will be out of town for work the entire first week of the series, can only go to Game 6 or 7.

I got that as well. Planning to log in and have a look around before getting heartbroken and upset about the price gouging all over again.

I did but I am not expecting much out of it. I'll take a peak, but if it's anything like what we're seeing I'm just not interested. Even if I had a choice I tend to roll the dice a bit and go for clinch games. That makes it personally easier to justify cost, and leaves open the chance you'll get it refunded. I'd probably have a sour look back on a Game 1 I spent a wad of cash on for a series we lost.

Not a season ticket holder? Just bought previous postseason single tickets?

I am not, I did buy NLCS Game 6 and 7. My guess is that, or anyone who bought a ticket directly from the Brewers this season.

This is exactly why I will probably choke on the price and still purchase tickets for Game 6.....

Not a SSH - bought tickets for NLDS Game 2 and NLCS Game 1

Just did the same. I ended up getting 2 tickets for Game 6 through an SSH at $1377 per. Gross, but may not happen so I can live with it.

Picked up 2 seats in Terrace box at $1,250 each (tack on parking and other fees - came to $2,800+ total)

Apprehensive at the price...but, like you said, if it's a clinch game for the good guys.....

Flights from Chicago to Tampa are about 330, tickets in the 500s, hotel price a couple hundred a night.

Would rather just do that for the same cost and get a few days in the sun.

Monetarily it makes sense, but the whole point for me is being around all the Brewers fans.

Yep, I get that perspective as well.

I can't go to any WS games other than 6 & 7 (work trip for 2 weeks)...otherwise, I'd be all over this.

Once the Brewers and Tampa get to 3 wins each, I'm pulling the trigger.

On the other hand, being in the minority would give you instant camaraderie with anyone else who happened to be wearing Brewers gear. I'm sure there are tons of snowbirds down there already. Obviously not the same as a stadium going crazy with home fans. But it would be fun to start up some "Lets go Brewers" chants.

Seeing the DS clinch in San Diego was incredibly fun. There were only about 100-200 Brewers fans in the entire stadium, we were the only ones in our section. I thought it was just as good as a home game but in an entirely different way. Something about being on the other side of the crowd tension of a close postseason game was invigorating. I bet people on the other side of the stadium heard me scream when Mitchell caught that ball.

There are going to be a LOT more Brewers fans in LA and definitely in either of the road options for the WS if we get there. If anyone on here is on the fence, don't hesitate to pull the trigger.

I'm currently staring at the tickets for WS game 7. I know if that game happens it will absolutely kill me not to be there but $3400 for a pair+travel is rough. I'm going to wait, the one nice thing about pricing to the secondary market is that it's not going to be any more expensive to wait.

I did not get an email message this morning about a World Series ticket pre-sale.

I wonder what the eligibilityfor that was. We have a 12 pack and I know that that does not guarantee pre-sale availability for World Series tickets, only for the earlier rounds.

Based on what was available in the pre-sales for the other rounds, I wouldn’t have expected much availability.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Plenty of obstructed view available!
