Up 2-1 against a team that was 41-18 on the second half and won like 17 of their last 20.

We were lucky to win that 1st game.

They went to 3-2 twice in the 2nd?

IN addition, they did a ton last night.  They put pressure on the pitcher/D all last night, almost every inning. Working counts, getting runners on, etc.

oh and lets not forget that 9th inning sunday

How so?

Game one was the game the Brewers were crushing the ball right into Padres' gloves all night, right? Making sure I'm not mixing games one and two. But I'm pretty sure the Brewers outplayed the Padres in game one, by a lot.

Just not an offense you can trust come October to score early

Again, going into today we were tied for seconds out of 8 teams in runs per game.

If that ball doesn't hit the beam near the roof it most likely is a 2 run homer.

Yep. We are playing a very good team. Runs are precious for both sides. That’s just playoff baseball.

That ball was not going out. Foul ball if anything.

Anyways... we've got a game happening now.

Except all of the stats are saying it was very unlikely to be a home run

Maybe, but statcast says no.

Can't ask for much more from Gasser. The Padres lineup is good, they're going to run into some hits.

Question is can our anemic offense figure out how to string some hits together against Buehler?
