Vaughn in. Whatever will we complain about now?

Yelichs hot bat not in the lineup I'm guessing.

Hopefully Murphy doesn’t get too antsy getting Yelich in there if Vaughn faces a righty in like inning 5 or 6 only to then leave a glut of lefty bats in a row late in the game without Vaughn to pinch hit

Yeah, Vaughn should play the whole game and just have Yeli available to pinch hit in the 7th or later, or a big spot for Joey

I would imagine they'll cross that bridge when they get to it as getting Skubal out early would be a good thing.

Still have Gary to counter against a lefty.

I like this lineup against Skubal. Sal and Yeli will definitely get their shot against Yamamoto, and maybe even against Snell in LA.

Feel right to load up on as many righties as you can and try to make Skubal grind. Plus, I think Yeli and Sal are good fits for the late-inning, pinch-hit role.

Turang hitting 2nd against a LHP, and not just any LHP, but freaking Skubal.

FWIW, ticket prices for game 1 have become (more) affordable today.  If interested, the best brokers are gametime, tickpick and seatgeek, all of whom give full price data upfront.  Beware stubhub, who hit you w/ fees at the very end of checkout.

FYI Stub Hub has a setting that allows you to see prices after fees.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Probably 3 — two against Skubal and a third against a lefty reliever

I think we will be fine if we split the home games 1-1, but from a narrative perspective it would be really nice to start with a W.

I’ll be curious if the Dodgers employ the “foul ball to death” strategy against Miz. They seem to prefer to feast off mistake pitches but even if you know a Miz fastball is coming it might not help.

I don't know if we can afford to split the first 2. We'll be playing 3 at Chavez Ravine. So... 1-1 -3 in LA, back to Milwaukee. We'd have to win 1 of 3 in LA and 2 in Milwaukee to finish.

He will get every AB until Skubal is removed. Yelich will immediately pinch hit against RHP.

Which doesn’t really make sense. No idea how it’s a “HFA” then

Obviously, it's ideal to go 2-0 in Milwaukee, but is that realistic?  Man, this is going to be a tough series if we can't score runs.

Thats the key.   Can they get back to working over starting pitchers and get to the pen.  That was the formula when they were cruising in the regular season.

Looking forward to seeing how Lara goes now that there's some pressure on. He's with his mate Coop so should be OK.

Go get 'em Brewers, take no prisoners, and leave it all on the field.
