Random thoughts that are pointless and too dumb to say anywhere else thread: 2007

So I was in a bachelor party this weekend (I'm standing up) and decided to do the bachelor party thing and acquire a blow up midget with said specialty DVD (Just part of the box). Instead of driving around with a midget doll in my car, I left it in the box and blew it up when I got to the gathering point. I just tossed the box in the back of my SUV and forgot about it.

This week we closed down our Falls location and I go to load up a car load of Printers into the car, and well.. needed help. So the VP of HR comes out and gives me a hand, opens the door and what falls out? You guessed it, the box for Bridget the Midget. Talk about egg on my face.

FTJ - He played for the other team.

This is inaccurate -- You take the middle square for the girly action -- The ladies love the middle square.

You should always sit down at bachelor parties, makes lap dances easier.

get me blueberries and cream. but the problem is you can only get that kind in the variety pack and that's a waste since you've got to throw away the banana-flavoured packets.

If you're talking about the "banana bread" flavor, that's my favorite. I don't think blueberries and cream come in the variety pack I buy, though. Otherwise I'd suggest we trade.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

The Comebacks looks to be the lamest movie of 2007, and it's not even made by the same guys who did Epic Movie and Date Movie. It's only saving grace is that one of the writers for the Comebacks also wrote Not Another Teen Movie, which is a great genre spoof.

Purple Rain is such a great movie/album. It's probably one of the top 10 underrated albums of all time. The movie is on VH1 Classic right now.

I totally hate marshmallows.

I also spend far too much time wondering if I would still cheer for the Brewers if they moved to another city, even though I understand they can't for about 25 years yet.

What is more relieving that just taking a nap on a rainy afternoon? Not that I'm doing that...but I'm wondering.

I love bananas. Not sure about "banana-flavored," though.

Trust me, Great Value banana creme pie yogurt...not worth it.

Me too, but I only like rap if it has a cool sound effect or something as the beat. There's a new song by someone that has what sounds like Atari sounds in it that I like.

I'm starting to realize I can tolerate a small amount of rap music, I don't know if that's good or bad.

Like any music genre, you just need to be introduced to the right artists. Talib Kweli and Mos Def are my favorites. Lupe Fiasco, a new fave, has a new album out in December, I would recommend checking him out.

George Lucas is planning a new live-action Star Wars series. I'm a fan of the films, okay a big fan, but not really looking forward to this new project. Still I will probably watch.

I think it's weird that my boyfriend eats the peanuts in the shell and also the shell of the shrimp tail. Then again, he thinks it's weird that I like to dip french fries in ice cream.

One time I was trying to sell ad space to UPS, I had this great conversation with the media buyer, and dollar signs began to dance in my eyes. I asked our office assistant to overnight a media kit to this lady, who had asked me to get info to her immediately, and call back the next day.

Um, she Fed Exed the package to UPS headquarters.

That became a teaching point.

Cheap Seats rules.

When I was 8 or 9 I got bit in the face by my neighbors dog. I had to get stitches and still have scars on my cheek and jaw. The next day my parents made me go to the neighbors to thank them for taking me to the hospital and the dog was dead. It was just laying there on a bail of hay, I felt really bad about that for a long time.

What would possess someone to let a phone ring for 40 minutes?

Make that 50 minutes and counting.

At work I usually just put calls on speakerphone and play on bf.net while I wait http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/happy.gif

Even if that means the phone rings for 40 minutes

If I had Braun's pee in my fridge I'd tell everybody.

Dear Counting Crows,

I don't know about Baltimore, but it's definitely raining in Portland.

Love,

TLB

EDIT: Nope, not raining in Baltimore. Looks like it will tomorrow, though. Good call, Adam Duritz.
