    Areinamo just hit a HR off 10th overall pick in the 23 draft, Noble Meyer. He's having such a good season.

    Heck people on this site were clamoring for us trading Yelich earlier this season when he got off to that hot start so we could get off his contract.

    Have to feel good for Jesus Rivero having a nice start today. Zero BB and zero HBP is a good day for Rivero. Let's see him build on today and have a good second half of the season.

    Down East not knowing it's 2024 has prevented me from seeing a Reece Walling HR and that makes me very sad

    Glad they put Joey on the IL. When a guy has to totally change his batting stance because his neck is bothering him then he probably shouldn't be playing in baseball games.

    Are players not allowed to have off days? He's had two awkward collisions into the wall these last two days.

    I'm not feeling great about Hall having an impact in the MLB this season. While his velo has improved these last couple outings in AAA, the FB shape has still been really bad and he's getting basically no whiffs with the FB (14% whiff rate in the last 3 outings). Unless that velo keeps improving or the shape gets better, I think he's going to be bad in the MLB.

    He also has crazy R/L platoon splits. RHH are slashing .209/.270/.331 against him while LHH are slashing .284/.368/.515 against him. Getting him back into a long relief role where he doesn't need to see a lineup multiple times and where you could protect him a bit better against LHH should be huge for him.

    I'd phantom IL Payamps to clear a spot on the 26 for Civale and move Wilson to the pen. Hoby's peripherals are really good this year. Yes he had a bad June, but he's one of the most snakebit pitchers in the MLB with his ERA being 1.5 runs higher than his FIP, xFIP, SIERA, and xERA. Milner had a .256 xwOBA in June compared to a .377 wOBA. So many perfectly placed gappers or groundballs that found holes and opponents had basically perfect sequencing against him to maximize runs.

    18 year old Manuel Rodriguez with another 6 IP quality start for Carolina. Incredible stuff.

    Looks like those 2 FB were an aberration. He's been 97-100 outside of those.

    Misiorowski's velo down a bit here early. His last 2 FB have been 94 mph one a called strike 3 the other a HR.

    I'll go 13-11 but that's with a 2-2 split in Colorado because we seemingly always struggle in Colorado.

    Just glanced at the Mudcats schedule and they play at Down East next week so no audio/video....least favorite weeks of the season.

    The Brewers even after all these years have no clue how to approach Kyle Hendricks. I think you just need to have an opposite field mentality against him because he throws so slow that even if you're thinking opposite field you can pull the ball. Instead our hitters are up there trying to pull everything and getting way out on the front foot every time.

    Logan Henderson slacking in the 2nd inning. After he struck out the side on 11 pitches in the 1st inning, it took him 15 pitches to get through the 2nd inning and he only had 2 strikeouts.

    Seems like he has a very advanced approach for a 17 year old. More BB than SO. Big pull rate. Lots of balls in the air.
