  1. Nobody cares about your gambling. You're a wet blanket who only shows up to post when you can be negative. You straight up said this was a 75 win team, so the idea you can turn around and call this team a failure when they win 90+ and make the playoffs is nonsense.
  2. Liar. You were not quoting Vegas odds.
  3. I've been the biggest Hoby defender but he probably should be DFA'd at this point. He is ARB3 next year and will likely be around $4M. Combine that salary with him not being optionable and having 2 LHP ahead of him in the bullpen depth chart (not even counting Hall or Ashby).
  4. Yeah that's BS. You said this team would be a 75 win team at best. How can the season possibly be a failure if a 75 win team at best makes the playoffs?
  5. This home stand has done so much to sour my hopes for the Brewers' playoff odds. We have 3 good hitters and if they get neutralized our offense has basically nothing to offer.
  6. Ashby today is still not even 17 months removed from his shoulder surgery. On opening day next year Woodruff will be 17 months removed from his shoulder surgery.
  7. Listen to the sound off Payne’s bat. Kind of just throwing the bat out there and making that noise and contact…there might be some very real power upside with him.
  8. Did it get his hand/wrist? I thought it caught him right on the left elbow guard.
  9. There's only one #11 in my heart these days and that's Jackson Chourio!
  10. Every year there’s that one guy in the system where it’s just like why is he not getting promoted. This year that guy is Ernesto Martinez Jr. Just makes no sense why he hasn’t been in AAA for weeks/months by now
  11. His first AB was kind of a reach the bat out kind of swing that went all the way to just short of the warning track in straightaway CF. His 3rd AB he ripped a hard hit liner to CF on a shoulder high FB that was caught. His 4th AB he shot a line drive to LF on a first pitch that was outside. His bat looks very intriguing.
  12. Payne's first single today was a 110 EV grounder/liner to RF. He just turned 18 last month and hit a 110 EV ball in a professional baseball game as a guy who scouts called a slash and dash type hitter. It's just one swing, but there's clearly some juice to that swing.
  13. Hicklen just saved us all from watching Frelick hit an infield pop up to end the game. For that I thank him.
  14. Not a big fan of using Ashby down 2 runs when you have guys like Peguero and Milner in the pen
  15. Can’t be too often that DSL players are popping for PEDs. Ever Urena was suspended 56 games for testing positive for Stanozolol
  16. Well they do and they don't. You're talking about the model that uses ZiPS projections to determine odds (I know you don't like using ZiPS and those projection systems. The model that's build off season to date performance has the Brewers as the most likely team in the MLB to win the WS.
  17. That was brutal. That was extremely wild Misiorowski. Not an outing he can afford if he wants to get called up to the MLB
  18. Still holding velo through the 3rd inning. He's definitely looking like a guy I hope the Brewers can keep around next season.
  19. Murphy definitely loves to publicly throw the team and players under the bus while simultaneously rarely ever taking accountability for his mistakes.
  20. You're posting raw numbers not league adjusted numbers...
  21. EV is measured off the bat. Pitch velo is measured out of the hand.
  22. Well it's easy to say that because he was so good in Milwaukee in 2021. I'd agree the best he looked as a Brewer was in 2021 but he was horrible in Tampa Bay before he got traded which hurt his overall season numbers.
  23. Offensive environments matter. Offense is down league wide this year so putting up the slashline he has this year is a better year than if he put up the slashline in 2019 with the juiced baseball. His 122 wRC+ is his career high for a full season and 13 wRC+ better than his career average. He's also matched his career high in fWAR with 20 some games to play.
  24. Baker's ground ball was 100 EV. That's not exactly "soft"
  25. Honestly what most likely happened was Murphy assumed that Marmol would leave Donovan in to face the LHP because that's what he would have done. I mean we saw it last night when Turang got to hit with the winning run on 3rd and 1 out against a LHP instead of going to the bench to hit a RHH in Monasterio or Haase.
