  1. Yes, and tomorrow it could be 4, or back to 6.
  2. Have you done the math on how bad the Brewers' record over the next two weeks would need to be and how good the Cards and/or Pirates would need to be? Care to throw out your envisioned records that will lead to this scenario? You seem awfully certain.
  3. Errors and walks never lead to good outcomes.
  4. That's a huge DP, especially coming back from 3-0.
  5. On a positive note, Chourio's OPS in June/July is .897/.868. I think he's figured things out. He is 20 years old.
  6. ...until he wasn't. C'mon Freddy, pull it together.
  7. We're talking about the Eric Haase with a 1.118 OPS so far, right? Regardless of whether he's expected to keep that up (he won't), he has decidedly not been awful.
  8. But isn't there a difference between "I wish we would have made the lineup even better" and "this lineup is a complete joke"? I realize this is just the IGT and so people just post whatever they want without substantiating it, but I would not characterize most of that lineup as "hilarious".
  9. And yet here we are with a 6 game lead.
  10. Can you provide some more context or commentary, source URL, etc, other than just dropping in a random headline from somewhere?
  11. This shtick is getting old. They're real people.
  12. There is a 0% chance they just let Adames walk, and there is a 0% chance he takes the QO.
  13. I mean, 3 teams in the last year all determined yes.
  14. Sorry, you're right about the first inning, I was focused more on the second inning, and the fact that you called it a failure without knowing the results. Obviously it didn't affect Wilson, so you can say you don't like it as an approach, but any team can string a couple hits together and get a run, so the fact that it happened to take place against an opener once doesn't make it a bad strategy. I think this is the first run that's been scored on an opener?
  15. Bauers continues to be a credible PH option.
  16. Presumably Steele's done after the 6th. Hopefully 3 innings against the Cubs BP will be enough for a couple runs.
  17. So the opener is only a successful strategy if no one gets on base?
  18. No, we got through an inning just fine. edit: And good job by Bryse to get through the 2nd. Perhaps a bit too hasty.
  19. Probably shouldn't have tried to get another inning out of Zastryzny.
