There's a Canadian. 62nd overall according to MLB.com.

One of the best all-around athletes to come out of Canada in years, Orimoloye could become the first first-round pick out of Ontario since Scott Thorman in 2000 -- if he has a strong spring. Born in Nigeria, he moved to Canada when he was 10 months old. Orimoloye is built like a linebacker at 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds, and all of his physical tools (raw power, speed, arm strength) grade out as plus. With his strength, bat speed and leverage, he can hit the ball farther than most high school players. Relatively new to baseball, Orimoloye lacks polish at times at the plate, on the bases and in the field. But he has shown significant improvement in the last year and has prototypical right-field tools. He'll attend Oregon if he doesn't turn pro.

geez another upside pick, I'm digging this.

Demi Orimoloye is considered a very high upside type of talent. Lots of raw skills.

Seems to be the exact type of player we SHOULD be selecting. Sure, he's a project, but the upside is enormous and he seems to be a tremendous athlete. Hard to complain about that at this point in the draft.

Dangit. He was wearing #27 in his highlight video and now I can't get a Vlad Guerrero comparison out of my head.

Could be the first player born in Africa to play MLB. I'm in.

Sort of like Harrison in that he's an amazing athlete who hasn't been fully committed to baseball very long. Huge upside.

Wow, you threw me for a loop there, at first I thought you were going with a Brady Clark reference!

Don't remember Skye Bolt? He was a topic of drafting a couple years back if I recall. Didn't take the money, must not have improved much in college that he's a 4th rd pick.

Skye Bolt is the best name in the draft and it's not even close.

It is good but I still like Trey Cabbage.

This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

looking for my 3rd baseman soon

You really shouldn't use the draft to find a position, you should use it to find the best player available. Most of these guys won't be making an impact for 4-5 years at the earliest and a lot of things can change. If you find a great hitter and athlete, he can always be moved to another position, like 3rd base. Quite a few 3rd basemen play SS in high school/college because they are the best athlete on the team. You shouldn't pigeonhole yourself into a position just because we have few in the system. Sure it'd be nice to have one but you should be looking for the BPA.

You wonder on Demi O's signing ability for Milwaukee. We're at the point where if there are signing issues, the team will be selecting the college seniors to sign way under slot and take that money to sign Demi O. Expect this next pick to confirm that or not.
