Hughes again for a double play???

Hader

[Matt1969]

Barnes is a pathetic failure.

[Matt1969]

Hader will throw a WP to score the winning run.

[TJseven7]

I've wanted Hader so many times this year they didnt go to him....

This is not one of those times

Really, the balls that were beat into the ground that made it through the IF?

haha. Training wheels are off.

[adambr2]

I know those weren't hard hit balls, but Barnes is our 4th or 5th best reliever. Why Counsell continues to be so in love with him as his '8th inning guy' reminds me of the Kameron Loe/Ron Roenicke era.

[Boomer5]

Absolutely horrible. Why does every 8th and 9th have to be such a nightmare?

[adambr2]

If Travis Shaw does that, he probably gets tossed.

[OnaBadger58]

That's a strike you clown

[MoreTrife]

Haha Harper. Edited July 27, 2017 by RoCoBrewfan
If something gets asterisk out by the swear filter it shouldn't be posted

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Might have to consider making Hughes the 8th inning set up man going forward. Or maybe Swarzak when he gets to the team.

[adambr2]

Suck it Bryce.

[TJseven7]

Bad man Hader...

[MrTPlush]

Harper...it was a strike. Melted down and choked mid AB

[jason21nl]

Could see Harper being tossed from a mile away

[OnaBadger58]

What a little baby, I love it!!!

[yfinn6]

Shocker that Harper got tossed. That was obviously going to happen as soon as he went 1-1. That strike 3 to Shaw was marginally worse than any of the pitches to Harper.

[MoreTrife]

What a jerk. Seriously. Big ol jerk.

[adambr2]

The 1-0 pitch to Harper was plenty good according to Gameday. Great pitch.

[OnaBadger58]

Screw it, keep Hader in.

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Drink the Haderade and head to the showers, Bryce.

Are they sending him over on a horse and buggy? He was traded over 24 hours ago. He's still not here?

[trwi7]

The funny part is, he got a 98 mph fastball right down the middle and missed it right after swinging at a slider about 2 feet off the plate. Even if you think you were screwed out of the first strike, and you weren't, you still really have no one to blame but yourself there.

[topper09er]

The 1-1 slider to Harper was totally filthy. Hopefully missing Harper hurts if this goes to extras
