Is it just me or would Villar be a more logical choice at SS than Sogard? (asking for a friend)

I don't think it matters too much. Villar is a very poor SS and the little bit of data we have on Sogard says he is a bad SS but not nearly as bad.

At least I feel like, unlike years past, our "sunday lineups" still have some punch and ability to score a decent number of runs. Our bench players this year are still somewhat capable.

Hate this lineup. Understand rest and all but this is sooo ugly.

It makes me wonder what he's gonna do when he plays al his starters. Like Walker 4 and Santana 5 in the lineup makes little sense

Just glad Braun is in there. Too hot to take out right now.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Pretty sure he just put replacements in the lineup in the same spot the regular is and wouldn't be surprised if you kept the defensive positions in the same spot and just put the regulars back in you'd have close to what you should expect: 2B Walker, 1B Thames, LF Braun, 3B Shaw, RF Santana, C Pina/Vogt, SS Arcia, CF Broxton

I just saw a tweet that Walker was issued jersey #15. I just chuckle a little bit knowing we'll hand out Cecil Cooper's old number like candy, but you want Gantner's #17? No way pal!

Ah yes of course-the Yostian school of managing. Why a position should matter to a lineup spot is ridiculous

Walker taking a banged up Shaw's place at third. Now Walker just got a hit in his debut. Standing O from the fans. This guy is going to be a good addition.

2-0 Brewers. Game is off to a good start.

That 2-0 strike call to Sogard was absolutely horrible. Not even close.

Well he threw 3 there so gotta give him 1 lol.

This linking hits stuff is fun.
