For a portion of last year. I thought he'd be at least good at it but he wasn't for at least the time that they tried him.

They at least tried him in the bullpen, and there were no signs of him being good. Wily, at the very least, needed a change of scenery.

Bit of a sour taste loss. None of them are good, but this one might be one that gets looked at later in the season.

This feels a lot like last year, having a great month then just treading water. A split against the Royals at home isn't acceptable, gotta go get a bat IMO

I think Counsell has been a terrific manager, but I agree. This may be the biggest botched game by CC as a manager.

I completely agree with that state of mind. I think with the current talent we'll win about the same as last year, which is why I am advocating for adding a bat. The starting pitching is going to go through a rough patch at some point and we will fall out of contention quickly if we keep the same incredibly inconsistent offense.
