Hernan is playing good ball. Much better at short than I thought. Valuable guy. Plate discipline would be nice but can't have everything.

 

He lets you play with a 4 man bench because he can play anywhere. The fact that he's killing lefties is a bonus.

Yeah, he can get hot, and when he does... he's very good.

 

That and his versatility make him a keeper.

That's not what I meant. CC challenged a play that had no shot of being overturned. At least this replay would've had a 5% chance.

Cain was safe, so I believe the call had a shot of being overturned. We, as cynics, didn't think it would be, but since he was safe, it certainly should have been.

He didn’t pitch yesterday and has not pitched 2 days in a row for the Brewers this year.

That didn't seem like a horrible pitch by Burnes, but Swanson(!) was all over it. Could this be a pitch tipping situation? Pitch selection getting predictable?
