Random stat question irrelevant to this that someone just asked me but I figured the experts here would know quickly. Thanks for any help.

Say a relief pitcher comes in with a runner on 1st, obviously that runner is responsible to the guy leaving the game. Now, next guy grounds into a fielders choice that gets teh guy going out to 2nd but next the hitter is safe at 1st. Who's responsible for that runner now? I would guess it's still the previous pitchers but really not sure.

Pretty sure that is the relief pitcher's guy at that point. Pitcher is only responsible for batters he personally allows on base.

Who’s left to pinch hit for Burnes?

Broxton, Arcia, Kratz

The way that ump was calling that would've been a ball too. High heater he couldn't do much with, probably just let that go and see what happens next pitch. In his head he probably though great chance for a fly ball to get the run.

That's what we do. Have a great chance to get back in it, and instead of the crooked inning, leave the bases loaded. That was our chance.

Hey they got two runs. Still two innings of ball to play.

Stearns has been a great GM for us, but he's gonna have to wear that Shoop trade. The guy is useless.

He made solid contact that inning and nearly put us ahead with a grand slam.

Shaw's dud AB was the one that really cost us, can't pop up a 2-0 pitch with the bases loaded and 1 out.

Had Schoop's AB come first it would have at least scored a run.

Just missed that one. Dang it

What happened? MLB gameday just said "flies out to left fielder"

It was a routine line drive fly out that Schwarber had all the way. Hardly a just missed it hit.
