Brewers managed 8 hits off Lester and some additional very solid contact. Would be really great to have a little more to show for it with a base hit here.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

I'm having to follow on espn.com. What is going on, it shows Lester just left on an 0-2 count to Kratz. Accurate?

Kratz hit an RBI double to RF. Moose was sent and stopped halfway and went back to 3rd. Lester is coming out injured

Kratz doubled, Lester came out after the double

Who had Eastern Mennonnite University as even having a baseball team, much less producing a major leaguer?

Edit - they have two! Larry Sheets is the other!

And who had Larry Sheets putting up a .921 OPS in 1987? And hitting .316 with 31 HRs and 94 RBI? And not getting one MVP vote for doing that?

It is a fair question why the Cubs didn’t get Edwards up in the bullpen after the first Lester injury visit to the mound?

Granderson here and not Thames says a lot.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

1987 was the anomaly year where the ball was juiced and power numbers were way, way up.
