2018-09-24: Brewers (Bullpen) at Cardinals (Flaherty) 7:15 PM CDT [Brewers win, 6-4 -- Lots of drama & a clutch W!]

[dlk9s]

Umps really need mics so they can tell everyone what the hell is going on.

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

Arcia is soooooo lackadaisical this inning ... cannot catch a line drive, bunting through balls on his own ... getting picked off at first ... bench him!

I have a feeling he'll be awake now.

Saladino was used, and I don't want to see Schoop or Perez at SS here.

[Ennder]

Arcia stopped because the ump told him the play was over, not really his fault.

[topper09er]

Man we just cannot get a big base hit tonight, so frustrating.

without the stupid pickoff attempt Kratz would have delivered

[topper09er]

Arcia was fine running, the problem was his hitting

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

Gotta go Knebel here, right?

Edit: Nope, it's Soria. Well, I hope Counsell has Jeffress ready to roll on a moment's notice.

If Arcia is that mentally fried that he tries to bunt on his own when all you need is a fly ball he can't play. Give me Schoop and three crazy hacks.

[mtrebs]

We could have a sizable lead in this game if we could get a hit with RISP. Good thing the Cardinals are trying to give this game to us. Let’s take it.

Yep, Knebel with Soria warming in the pen to start the inning.

[FVBrewerFan]

Arcia is just not major league caliber at the dish in a spot like this.

He put the ball in play. That would have been a k for him or anyone else in the 10 seasons before this year.

Yea, that was bad. Worst part is the 2nd bunt attempt was on a fastball right down the middle. He wants to try it on his own the 1st pitch, that I can at least understand, but doing it until you have 2 strikes?? C'mon.

[HarveysWBs]

Uh oh, Soria... This is white-knuckle stuff, now

They might have done well in that situation in 2011, or the first half of numerous other seasons.

[shanedog19]

Knebel needs to be on standby here.

Counsel is still irate. Say what you will, but he does not tolerate stupid baseball.

[Bulldogboy]

I hate Soria here. Prove me wrong please!!

They need him to right the ship this week. He's too good to be getting knocked around like he has been at times since the trade.

[wildcat83]

Wow, 95 from Soria

[phnxcrew]

Hit Molina in the face

He can handle the pressure as well as anybody in the game.

Hit Molina in the face

Haha, in the neck tat.

Fastest he's been on the gun since coming to the Brewers. I wonder if St. Louis has a quick gun, though? Hicks is fast, but I don't know about 102 fast.

[wildcat83]

Why would Bader ask to have the ball checked?

The last guy to make Counsell this mad got traded to the Orioles...

[Bulldogboy]

Good plan to have Knebel up behind him.
