Now the Rockies are forced to time up a fresh look, while the Brewers likely get Senzatela for at least 1 more inning. And since Burnes might have more than just one pitch working for him today, he might be tougher to face than Woodruff. Shaping up nicely.

Morosi's MVP discussion was so bad. He factors in team record because he wants someone who helps his team win the most. Well, dummy, wouldn't the best player in the league be the one who does that? He helps more than anyone else.

And people think the Brewers need to unload the farm for a TOR? They have their future TORs.

Legit question...if Woodruff and Burnes are given next season to be SP, are they as good as say Kyle Freeland by the end of next season?

I like Woody and Burnes a lot (and Peralta a bit less so), but still, small sample sizes are under consideration here.

That being said, the postseason is a pretty small sample size, too, so I think they're more than capable of keeping it rolling!

None of Burnes, Woodruff, or Perlata will be counted on to be that good by next season's end. But one of them very well might be that good by then. Maybe even two.

I'm fine with the Rockies' starter continuing. Brewers are hitting him pretty hard. Just not a ton of base hits.

Nice to see the contact hard and all over the diamond just right at the fielders.

Yelich being an MVP. I’d say I was surprised but I’m not. Ride him til the wheels fall off lol !

Very good start let’s keep this going !

For his wildness, Senzatela is at 58pitches through 4.

Brewers have squared up some pitches, but they ended up outs. So it’s hard to second guess their approach, but it might be worth seeing if they can exploit Senzatela’s wildness by drawing some walks.

12 outs to go!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
