2018-10-20 (NLCS Game #7): Dodgers (Buehler) at Brewers (Chacín) 7:09 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 5-1 -- 2018 Season Comes to a Close]

[Boomer5]

The offense has to make them throw strikes and play small ball. We had to score more than one run to expect to win.

Buehler is very beatable in the playoffs. If Yelich is back this is a very good thing.

[adambr2]

That was freaking awful, Aguilar. Awful.

[homer]

Buehler really working the top of the zone.

[jason21nl]

The pressing by offense will be off the charts. Doesn't make for good results.

Guys are going to swing at a lot of garbage tonight

Yep.

Hader isn’t a panic move. He is pitching today regardless. It is not a mystery. Edited October 21, 2018 by MrTPlush

Using Hader this early trailing in the game just seems like a panic move. We have plenty of other options here.

Why save him? 3 innings is 3 innings.

[WinkelsasVsSoriano]

Ugh. That single would look so much better with Aguilar at 3rd. Still, let's get him NOW!

[adambr2]

Damnit. It's first and third and 0 out if Aguilar doesn't swing at a pitch at his eyes.

I know, can't assume the same sequence.

Do they go to Hader even if Chacin doesn't bat this inning?

[Bulldogboy]

I don't get why Hader this early. I think the whole pressure on the Dodgers goes out the window if he's in while they are winning. If he's in when they are ahead it's just keep it status quo.

[Bigblast]

Get a hit please arcia, at least get through the pitchers spot this inning.

[Boomer5]

Hader gives the team extra juice when he pitches. Go righty, lefty, then righty to force them to go to the bench early.

The issue is our offense has to come to play. That inning was a wasted opportunity because Buehler was begging us to take walks and we swung at his pitches.

[jason21nl]

I understand using Hader. Can’t let it get away

[jason21nl]

What a HUGE ab

[WinkelsasVsSoriano]

Man, Arcia has been good.

And I'm still angry with Aguilar.

[jjgott]

Ok Schoop, earn your keep

[Bulldogboy]

Good ab there.

[topper09er]

Schoop redeem yourself

[Brewcrewin07]

C'mon Jonathon! Hit a gapper!!

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Arcia has been a big hitter this series.

Just maybe Schoop can cash in the opportunity.

[homer]

That was a huge hit

[Invader3K]

Schoop could do something and justify his existence here.

[nodakfan17]

Schoop and not Santana? Must be a matchup thing.

[Bulldogboy]

Zero faith in Schoop. Too bad.
