Seems like a huge game, our ace out there and Hader should be available. A 5-2 week looks a lot better than 4-3 when you are thinking about what to do at the deadline. Of course they have some lefty we haven't seen before but hopefully Hiura now makes our lineup a lot more balanced against southpaws.

Still no lineup released two hours before game time which is a little out of the ordinary. Wonder if there is a yet to be announced move delaying things? Would expect the lineup to be posted any moment now.

Edit: Here it is, a Sunday special indeed...

Yikes. That lineup leaves a lot to be desired. Probably will put a 10 spot up today.

Kinda makes me nauseous seeing Saladino get a start in left field. How much longer til Dubon is eligible to come up?

Holy hell. DS needs to get Saladino off the team ASAP to prevent garbage like him in LF ever happening again. I'd soooo prefer to have Perez back if this is how they're going to use that UT role...

I guess on the bright side they should have a lot of excellent pinch hitters available today. :)

It is the 11th time in his career that Manny Piña has started a game in the 5th spot. He has a .903 OPS in those games, so maybe they’re on to something.

Counsell last night: "We're getting there" with Saladino not producing.

Counsell today: lol but not there yet. Let me stick him in the outfield.

Absolute garbage lineup. Doesn’t mean they can’t win, especially if Woodruff can have a great game, but not much fun to watch a lineup with 4 pitchers.

Is Yelich hurt too?

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Brewers favored again.

Has that changed now that the lineup is posted?

Braun unavailable today...it was Yelich's scheduled day off apparently. Why in the hell if you know Braun is hurt and unavailable would you not reschedule Yelich's day off then?? And to sit Yasmani at the same time?? Pathetic managing to say the least. Guess these games aren't that important to CC. You play to win the game.

LOL ... it sure is a good thing that they are actually going to play a game today then. Maybe this team can pull one out despite their pathetic manager. :rolleyes

I hope they do...but C'mon, you can't sit both Yelich and Grandal if Braun is unavailable...Not when these games are uber important.

Yes, must win.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I want to know the honest thoughts of Woodruff when he seen that lineup.

:laughing :laughing :laughing

Woodruff: "I should probably be batting 6th or 7th."

Well, his BA is higher than Saladino’s OPS
