I liked a lot of what I saw from Grisham when he came up, but he looks overmatched lately.

Lately, yes. I’m not going to hold anybody’s performance against Cole against them, though, even if it is part of a worrying trend.

I understand Cole is tough, but you got a guy on 2nd with no one out and the meat of your order coming up and you can't even advance him. It's a season recurring theme.

I wonder where the brewers are in making outs outside of the zone compared to the rest of the league

It seems like nobody throws them strikes. They might get some walks but they swing at crap

Man, Claudio has been good.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Suter is up in the pen. I repeat, Suter is up in the pen.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

When you look at the Astros rotation and lineup they have to be a a solid favorite to win the World Series, even over the Yankees and Dodgers. Their record is pretty amazing considering some of the injuries they’ve had.

If the Brewers had to play the Astros 162 times they’d be lucky to win 40.

If they could win one of two this week to make it 2-2 for the season that would be a plus.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Doomed after he missed the middle-middle FB. That was a nasty curve.

Cole showing why he would look good in blue.

Worth the 32+ mil. a year the first 3-4 years of his 7 year contract. Suppose we could trade him after we win the World Series with him next year.

Back to reality. The Brewers aren’t signing Cole.
