Braun 6 for 46.

He's been terrible.

7 for 47 with a huge donger to help save the season much like his blast a few nights back in Miami. Had a big double against the Cubs in that series as well. He’s old. He’s streaky. He’s hurting. But he’s as clutch as they come and we are going to need more of it because this team lacks it.

I don't believe I've ever heard a home run called a "huge donger" but I'll thoroughly support this term. Expanding on this, "donkey donger" would be appropriate too

I understand that you have to secure these wins but Hader has had a ton of appearances lately, albeit generally shorter ones. He's being used much more like a traditional closer.

Would really like to get him 2-3 days off straight if we can.

Especially as he is laboring here thus far.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Did you all hear Rock break kayfabe and scream YES!

I love it when Rock does break out once in a while and just show how pumped he is. Its ok to be a homer.

Was that the first time since 2008?

Unbelievable. 0-2 Chris Hook special.

Yeah, Hook told him to throw a meatball and miss his location. That is 100% on Hader. Ridiculous.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

...and BC92 drops Hader into the meh category

Drops him into the meh category and suggests we trade him for 5 top 100 prospects in the winter.
