Seeing the error on gameday, did the ball skip on 1b bag? Only one camera angle and by time see Hiura the ball has gone under his glove. At same time ump has arm pointing fair ball and it's only about 3-4 feet past the bag. Any other camera angle that shows where ball bounced before passing Hiura? Do find his body position/fielding technique rather terrible. Looked like an OF running up to scoop a ball and launch a throw home...when 1st base was 4feet away to step on. Just keep the ball in front of you Keston!

Avi!!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

The ball he snagged at first (then threw wild to second) he was just reaching out to get the ball when he had a chance to get his body in front of him. Certainly needs some work defensively.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

A couple more swings like that and Bradley might get his average into triple digits.

It’s a battle to see who will get there first, Bradley or Hiura.

Don't forget Urias.

Avi had 110 MPH EV on his HR and 111 on his double. Nice to see someone squaring things up.

Narvaez looks like a completely different batter from last year. Like the invasion of the body snatchers different.

Good point. His oh-fer since the Arcia trade has brought him back into the contest.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Watching Yelich run is just a beautiful thing

He looks like a baby giraffe that just realized how its legs work.

Okay, don’t trade but teach him how to field.

Break it out Huira! Hopefully, this game (offensively) is a sign of things to come.
