2021-07-09: Reds (Miley) at Brewers (Lauer) [Brewers lose, 2-0]

[PinaMadness]

NOOO!!!

[PinaMadness]

Thank God. Pina is a man's man out there.

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

NOOO!!!

Catchers are some of the toughest people on earth. Took a 89 mph slider flush in the bare hand. Ouch!

[DuWayne Steurer]

Not having Sinclair, I don't have to find a sketchy stream to cast to my tv. So watching on youtube (even with a 30 second delay) is nice.

[jason21nl]

There’s that man again

[PinaMadness]

So where does Adames rank among MVP candidates? Or are the writers just going to give it to a name you know again?

[82brewcrew82]

Why not hit Yelich leadoff at this point.

He's probably behind Tatis

I'd at least hit Yelich 2 and Adames 3

[yourout]

Looks like another El grande strike zone tonight.

"Reaches on a fielding error by 3rd baseman Luis Urias"

I feel like I read this on Gameday every evening.

[MrTPlush]

How does this guy have a job as a commentator?

Brendon Woodruff

Jesse Winkler

Good lord man

I wasn't super big on the robot zone, but the umps yesterday and today are making a good case for them.

[trwi7]

Ferris Bueller reference and nobody in the booth other than the guy who quoted it gets it. Terrible broadcast.

[DuWayne Steurer]

Hearing this guy call him "huirda" is annoying me.

Half the time the guy asks the secondary guy something and his mic ain’t working for 20 seconds.

[BallFour]

Miley getting this big of a zone is umpire malpractice

It sounds like he is trying to pronounce it with an Asian inflection, which is very cringeworthy

[mtrebs]

Pina’s hand isn’t good. I bet Narvaez is going to replace him now.

Exactly.

Plesac fumbling over names like Harry Caray 14 beers into his 24 pack is just brutal.

[igor67]

I can't believe they didn't pull Pina after that AB. I would certainly test his throwing arm if I am the Reds and get the chance.

[Zad Fnark]

Lauer's pitch count per inning dropping nicely.

I'm going to make a Brewers acquire Jacob Nottingham thread on the Major League Forum right now.

I missed the comment, but these announcers are meh, and the sound quality seems off, like their microphones are run cans with strings.

Fixing the strike zone would help the game immensely.
