I hate baseball’s use of replay. It’s just so silly.

In theory replay should be an incredible asset. In actual practice it’s often applied different from its intent.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

You shouldn’t be able to block the bag with your foot. That’s the first part about all of this.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

You guys can hate the fact that that type of review is allowed but he was pretty clearly off the base when the tag was still applied.

Post the view that shows him clearly off the bag?

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

There’s no way that was conclusive. Why does NY hate the Brewers so much? We lose inconclusive plays that were initially called our way. We lose obvious plays that we’re called wrong but then not overturned like they should have been.

There has to be a different angle that we can't see that clearly shows the foot leave the bag. They can't be reversing based on that look.

The SB got us our run, but this time the attempt may have cost us the game

Don’t sit there and blatantly say he was clearly off the bag. Nobody can say that. That’s ridiculous to even remotely state that

trying to be positive. really really trying. but somebody needs to get rid of manfred. all i'm saying.

Absolutely awful commissioner.

There needs to be a safe zone after initial comtact with the base.

Not sure what you're saying here. Like, you shouldn't have to actually stay on the base?

True. His foot left the bag and he was tagged. Isn’t the runner entitled to some access to the bag however? If guy’s foot isn’t dead center, thus forcing Adames’ foot off the bag, he’s pretty clearly safe.

Except he wasn’t.

He was called safe. While all angles show his foot move/shift, there’s no angle that shows a gap between the foot and the bag. You can’t see that his spikes weren’t on the bag. Sorry, you’re just flat wrong

You guys, that behind the base view where it looks like his foot is off (because it is and you can see him slam his foot back into the base while the tag is still being applied) is about as definitive as you can get.
