I never like playing Atlanta. Seems like we usually struggle against these guys. Helps that we have Burnes and Woody going though and no Acuna either.

I have a feeling our relievers are going to have to be really good this series

I bet they are a lot of tight games

Is this a bullpen game for Atlanta?

Don't think so - this is Toussaint's 3rd appearance and 3rd start this year, and he was at least into the 7th both times (SD & PHI).

Let’s get this pinned up top gentlemen!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

The Brewers are optioning Keston Hiura back to Triple-A to clear a spot for Eduardo Escobar.

Gotta assume this is the end for Hiura in the majors this year.

Can't make that assumption, IMO. Probably the end of him until the AAA season is over, though.

Yeah, after Ryon Healy appeared out of the shadows to be the Brewers cleanup hitter in the playoffs last year I stopped making any assumptions.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

That's a good looking lineup, but a little aggressive slotting Escobar in cleanup and sliding Tellez/Garcia down a notch. Also Taylor is absolutely on fire and hitting 7th in our lineup and it really isn't THAT ridiculous that he's hitting that low.

Per Braves beat reporter Mark Bowman…

If Duvall arrives on time, he'll start in left field tonight

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Lineup has a little more depth to it than it used to. Gotta love it.

Love seeing it but I always find myself imagining how great this offense would be with a 2018/2019 version of Yelich

I am worried we may never see that version again.

I’m hoping for the first half of 2018 version. I think we forget sometime that he was merely All Star caliber then, not HOF caliber.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

That’s my impression too. Atlanta and San Francisco both seem to be hard places for the Brewers to win. Maybe it’s the unfriendly HR environments.

SF isn't too bad anymore with the new park dimensions. We haven't won a series in Atlanta since 2016. We took 3 of 4 in SF in 2018 but prior to that hadn't won a series there since 2010.

For as blah as Yelich is perceived to be doing this season, he has been clutch. In high leverage at bats, he is hitting 1.050; with RISP and two outs, his OPS is .833 OPS, all RISP situations he is hitting .368!

Maybe he should be hitting 5 or 6 when guys are on a bit more…
