Curtiss is 28, right-handed, and has performed very well as a reliever for Miami this year and Tampa last season. This is his first 'real' season in the bigs, depending on how you quantify last year.

I am now ok with this deadline so long as Norris isn't a huge failure
I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Seems like a really solid, under-the-radar get. David Stearns doing a lot of David Stearns things today.

The silent assassin strikes again. I love it!

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Alright, now this guy looks like a nice improvement to the bullpen. About a 4:1 K:BB ratio, and a career 1.15 WHIP. Heck, he's even started some games, so he can go multiple-innings, although I'm sure those was more "opener" roles, and not a traditional starter.

"The most successful (people) know that performance over the long haul is what counts. If you can seize the day, great. But never forget that there are days yet to come."

Great trade. Controllable through 2025, doesn’t walk many guys, can go multiple innings, 7th-9th inning reliever depending on the day. This was a very good trade with our catching position at the big league level under control for the foreseeable future when you include Feliciano.
