Great job by Urias and Jace. Shame we couldn't cash in more than 1. Take your pick from Cain and Bradley, neither can hit a lick.

I mean, Cain has hit well lately.

Pretty generous. He's 5 for his last 29.

.264 in his last 30 games. That's fine.

The big difference in defensive abilities of these two teams is really the difference tonight.
but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

So Avi has driven in one of the Brewers runs, scored the other one and now saved at least one, likely two or more runs on defense.

Didn't realize Avi had that kind of defensive chops!

He had a reputation as a good defender before coming to the Brewers ... and that was before dropping 30 pounds. I mean, he was their regular CF last year, even at his hefty status. He isn't Mookie Betts out there, but he's a solid defensive RF.

Yep…2 huge plays by Avi that saved 1 run for sure ….probably at least 1 more….and a play that could have been made by Farmer that wasn’t cost the Reds.

It depends on the sample size you want to use.

He's been a decidedly better hitter than JBJ this season, that AB notwithstanding, so there is that.

Yeah, Farmer has cost the Reds twice this series. He's gonna cost you runs at SS.

Kinda glad they didn't trade for Adames as they wanted him for a long time apparently.

I know nothing about our 1B coach, but doesn't he seem, sort of, bad? At least for the limited opportunities he has every day. He got Yelich tagged out turning the wrong way a month or two ago with a terrible send, and he wanted to send Yelich to second there, which would have been a terrible idea in that situation. Yelich fortunately just completely ignored him.

EDIT: Someone just mentioned he wasn't sending Yelich, he was calling him back to the bag because he missed the tag so if that is the case I stand corrected.
