Bizarre ghost town IGT on a potential clinch game.

Because we are not losing.

BS

I don’t think you’re allowed to swear on these boards…

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Even taking the late start into account, this is a slow moving game. Slow working pitchers dealing with lots of base runners.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

For those at the game today are they indeed showing the Cubs-Cardinals score on the outfield scoreboard? I assume they would, but thought it was an interesting question that came up yesterday.

Because we are not losing.

Nothing to complain about today.

Spot on. Both of you.

Haha. (Don’t want to offend anyone by swearing).

After the strikeout I was optimistic Brent Suter would slam the door on this scoring opportunity. Hopefully they can still get out of this clinging to the lead.

I don’t love using Suter twice in a series but not sure Hader is available today. We could use some more runs

Well, at least the Brewers are still leading. I wouldn’t bet on 5-4 being the final score to this one.

Brewers have not done anything to add on runs when they’ve had leads this week.

Does it make anyone else nervous seeing Lauer as a pinch runner? As much as I’d like to win this game, definitely would prefer not to take any unnecessary risks with Lauer right before the playoffs.
