If we get a couple weeks into camp and he's still on it, then it's concerning. At this point, though, it's a nothingburger.

I think having him "return" last year after more than a year away from ACL surgery, then have yet another setback, not participate in the entire offseason, and still not be ready for TC can't be anything but concerning.

Sure, he won't take much to get ready but simply not being able to get healthy is a bad sign, IMO.

If I was a Packer blog writer, I'd have a yearly tongue-in-cheek article on BSOHL.

It was the first question Gute answered in his presser a little bit ago. Said he has no concerns over Bahk playing again, but that he had another procedure on his knee in the offseason, that the damage was more significant than just the ACL and that they are "cautiously optimistic." But if the team's GM has no concerns over Bahk playing again, I don't think fans really should.

Cautiously optimistic doesn't seem the same as "no concerns". I of course hope you are right but I agree with CheezWizHed, this definitely is a somthinburger. The oline in general is a concern for me this season and Bak is at the top of the list there, as always I came around on the draft picks but would have liked an olineman closer to the top.

Amari Rodgers can hype up his weight all he would like - and, I certainly hope he has an incredible year. BUT, I'm simply here to say: #DoubsSzn. With Christian Watson recuperating from a June knee procedure and with Sammy Watkins injured (predictably at this point?)...Winfree has flashed but, man, Doubs seems like a possible steal.

This 4th Rounder looked like quite an interesting pick at the time. AND, it sure seems like he's showing out early. I'm excite!

I predicted a while back that Doubs would have more catches than Watson.  Watson will get more deep ball chances and certainly will have more gimmick plays drawn up for him, which will probably mean he gets more yards.  But in terms of the normal WR routes and catches, I'm thinking Doubs has the leg up.

Certainly seems like a legit possibility. He has an 'It' to him...we'll see what exactly that is as the pads come on. Pretty exciting stuff early, tho, in a time where it's not often to get excited during TC.

Is addition to this forum - Is there another “quality” Packers Forum similar to Brewers Fanatic where other avid Packers fans communicate? I love this website - I’ve not found anything remotely close for the Pack. Help! :)

My greatest frustration with Green Bay early in their training camp … Sammy Watkins starting out on PUP because he’s injured AGAIN … I thought this was a bad signing & this only supports my concerns

My greatest disappointment with Green Bay early in their training camp … Christian Watson’s unknown knee surgery that places him on the PUP to start camp

My greatest concern with Green Bay early in their training camp … Bahktiari & the O-line … too many question marks & too much inexperience

The thing that has me most excited with Green Bay early in their training camp … Romeo Doubs being a potential sleeper & his ability to add value as a top WR … I believe he could be better than Watson

Two more concerns … Mason Crosby (38) having knee surgery & the long-snapper position - Coco has never snapped for punts … foolish to think he can learn to do so in the NFL

Watkins was a minor thing and he's activated. But, the injury history in recent past is obvious cause for 'concern'. It was one of those things where the cost must have worked considering their budget constraints? And, there is familiarity there with members of the coaching staff.

Watson's injury is a bummer for sure. It also seems like one of those deals whereby they got ahead of something that could have nagged him all season and required work after the season. It seems like it was a scope and 'clean'? Hard to tell.

I think the O-Line, once again, will be more than fine. Even with Jenkins and Bakh both injured and unknown, there's a lot of depth there. And, now it's a lot of depth with many games under proverbial belts. Jake Hansen seems to be a sleeper rotation guy. I really like the toolkits of both rookies - Rhyan and Tom. Again, I think they're deep and they'll be just fine.

To the Doubs thoughts: (more than 'just a speed guy')

Long snapper is definitely a concern. But, given their investment in Bisaccia and his history in the ST realm, if there's a problem there this is a year they'll finally address it. That's my take. Those are my takes. LOL.

As to a Packers forum similar to this? Way back in the day, I used to frequent what was then "Packer Chatters". BUT, I don't believe such a thing exists anymore. It's the Cheesehead TV comments section (not very enjoyable and I don't really like the layout at all) and Twitter mainly. SO, I think it's what we make of it here??

There is this great site called LambeauLeap.net...

Yuppers. That was the Packers version of 'Brewer Fan' back in the day. FWIW.

Yes.  Very unfortunate that it died... I loved hanging out there and tried to put a lot of content out to make it interesting.. but alas it wasn't to be.

- So Doubs is not just a flash in the pan pre-pads. Hopefully he keeps it up.

- Love is looking much better too. Proof will be when he gets snaps in pre-season games.

I'm bummed that they haven't figured out how to stream family night on the NFL+ app yet.  I was hoping this would be included as a "preseason" game. #OutOfMarketPain

It's weird. Gutey has no concerns he'll come back and play at an AP level again. His knee feels as good as it has since the injury. I've had 3 ACLs, I've had complications. I was just a College Wrestler, so it's so much different(the planting is harder, you have the world's best athletes coming at you there's no way to protect it).

But I don't get what could still be the issue if it's structurally sound and it feels good. Just perhaps strength?

I will say, when he had this done and it was reported he just had his own ACL fixed rather than the Achillies graft...which has a higher success rate and allows you to come back and start the weight training and running quicker(though cutting and the type of lateral rehab needs to go a little slower as you need to allow for the graft to take).

But this is one where it just feels like they could tell us. "David needed a second surgery to go in and clean up some cartilage and smooth down a couple spots," which is my guess as a layman, but the lack of any information is what I find troubling.

The fact that he came back last year vs Detroit and played at a VERY high level(much-much better than Nijman despite missing the whole year and on a bad wheel)...I feel pretty good if he's back, he'll be most of the way back. But that "if" looms large.

Oof. 3 picks in the first half.

No offense, but you clearly didn't watch the half? Let me clarify for you:

(1) A blatant drop by Tyler Davis on an easy catch inside the 10 yard line. Leads to an INT. It was a terrible drop.

(2) A great throw again, on a tight window (WR's not getting separation) which should have been caught was juggled and then dropped into the tight coverage of the CB on a sideline throw. This was on Doubs, bad luck, or just a hell of a play

(3) The last play was a tight window throw. It was a heck of a play by the CB. Probably not the right throw but given what I was seeing from most of his receiving corps? Meh.

J-Love is fine. He looks much improved. And, those throws in tight windows are dangerous. We know he has a propensity to make questionable decisions from time-to-time. Hopefully he improves.
