Gees, now I have to watch video of this brawl.

Raw footage isn't too exciting, but the Jomboy breakdown will be amazing.

I saw a three minute video of it. This is the greatest brawl between the Angels and Mariners since Frank Drebin tackled Reggie Jackson during the seventh inning stretch.

This game-thread was quite pleasant with the usual suspects not making an appearance due to the Brewers being in the lead by a lot virtually the whole game. This is a good team that's starting to get healthy and has a favorable schedule coming up.

I'm also looking for Small to be added in a long relief role in the bullpen. That's where his stuff probably best plays right now and would also be in line with our developmental model for starting pitchers. Alexander can then be the 6th starter option until Freddy returns.

Who would Small replace on the roster?

You have to be happy that we stayed even with the cardinals this home stand

the schedule lightens up for awhile after the rays

And it simultaneously gets really hard for the Cardinals with series against the Marlins (Alcantara and Lopez are both pitching), Phillies X2, Braves, and Dodgers all coming up.....

How many infield hits did the brewers have today.  Cripes

Also I didn’t know Peterson has 9 stolen bases already.

im a huge fan of the stolen base which makes me an outcast.

A rare offensive explosion for the holders of the Weekend 10 Pack. In the first two innings the Brewers literally scored more runs than we usually see in a month of Sundays.

After Kirk’s HR in the first and Chapman driving one to the warning track with a man on right after, I was mentally prepared for another dull afternoon.

As the game moved on it looked like the Jays slipped into getaway mode and started swinging at a lot of first pitches

A great series win and a successful 4-3 homestand.

Now anxious to see if Woodruff can come back and perform at something closer to All Star form than he did before the injury.

Another good thing about today is that Berrios has made it easy for me to decide who to cut from my fantasy team when Woodruff comes off the IL. I thought maybe he was coming around after 3 straight good, long starts, but these last two have been brutal.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Cardinals fall to the Cubs in extras. 1 game lead for the Brewers in the division. If the Reds can hold their 10-1 lead against the Giants, the Brewers will also be up 1.5 games for the last wild card spot in the NL. And after Tampa, the schedule lightens up just as we are getting healthier.....

Yeah, those three 3 city road trips were tough,   But that’s over and even after this home stand there are more home than road left.
Now let’s get the road trip started with a win on Tuesday, been looking forward to that game all year, and am excited they have Woodruff going.  I’m taking the family.

I’m aware that I can be quite negative in my posts regarding the Brewers being “hard to watch” this year

I have commented several times that they have only played a handful of complete games this season

Today’s game - apart from the top of the 1st - can be added to the short list of enjoyable games in the 2022 season

Hopefully, we can close out the last two innings & secure a much needed series win over a good team

I’m at 42 enjoyable games so far this year and 33 that weren’t so enjoyable.
