CC's emphatic "it doesn't make sense" statement as to Hiura's batting line against left handed pitching is honestly, infuriating.  It might not make sense, but that's what it is. Continually using him against left handed pitching and just hoping against hope for a different result is poor management, and frankly, I expect better from Counsell.

You just defined the word insanity there good sir! Makes south of zero sense.

No better pitcher for someone looking for his first big league HR.

Lauer is an equal opportunity gopher ball pitcher.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

As they say - the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result.

Looks like we’re going to have to figure out the unbelievable cubs pitcher Steele-  this lineup SHOULD be able To do something against a poor/ average LHP

Well said … foolish to “hope” he suddenly becomes a good hitter against lefties … no evidence to suggest he might get there anytime soon

Is anyone else getting frequent pixilation on the telecast?

I had it yesterday and again today and I don’t get it on any other channels on Spectrum.

My picture is kind of wonky so I couldn't tell if that ball went 450 feet or 500.

It definitely cleared the LF wall with room to spare

We lost the feed up here in GB because of the rain.

What is Milwaukee’s W-L record against lefties this year?

I believe it is better than what I would think

They certainly don’t hit as well against starting LH pitchers, but last I checked their record was close to .500

13-13 in games started by opposing lefties this year.

Gotta tell ya, Major League 2 wouldn't have been as good if Ricky Vaughn was just throwing 94 mph fastballs down the middle like Lauer is.

Never seen a guy throw more center cut fastballs for whiffs then Lauer in this game.

Yeah. It's pretty strange.

Five innings, one run, a bunch of strikeouts, and one mistake pitch is the Lauer I like.

For what it’s worth, they look to have some late life on them.
