True. Posters could let others make off the cuff comments without feeling obligated to make a big issue out of them.

Never did I say or assume that the Cubs were going to score. 

I had an off the cuff comment that, right after the Brewers broke the scoreless tie, the Cubs responded with a scoring threat of their own. 

If I had said something like “that lead didn’t last long” I would have been assuming a run and would have been wrong.

I never expected, though I probably should have, that some of you would react to that at all. If I wanted to troll for responses I could be a lot more direct than that.

Then I hope he pitches next Tuesday against the Twins and the next Sunday against the Giants so that he doesn’t pitch in the ASG. He can be honored and take in the festivities without pitching an inning in a meaningless exhibition.
