I know most players get signed near the deadline (and there is even a draft-and-follow opportunity again), but only 3 of 21 picks have been signed. It's a short deadline.

i keep only seeing the 1st round pick as being signed. who else has signed?

Nevermind see it on the board just dont have the numbers

Only one has been made official, so it is possible that several others are in the same stage as O’Rae and Rudy, either awaiting a physical or done but not announced. Depending on how close they are to the stateside system limit, today’s transactions might also have been clearing space to make some official.

So... we've already got 650k savings from the top 10 (with only one signing).

I assume that alone gets us Satchell Norman and Ethan Lege.

Say we can scrounge up around a million for Brady Neal (along with Wood, Hall, and Norman) and we'd really be solid at catcher from this draft.

looks like supplemental 2nd rounder Robert Moore signed for 800k which is over 115k under his bonus slot

man were really saving some money here....gotta have plenty to play with to entice guys in the rounds 11-20

Misiorowski might also want more than slot value.

Ahem..

So essentially, Misiorowski was their 1st round pick.

Essentially, based on slot value, the Brewers got the equivalent of #32/#33, #38, #80 for draft position #27, #63, and #72.

In Packers draft terms, they moved down a few spots in the first to trade up to an early 2nd round pick and move down a few slots with their second 2nd-round pick.  According to the Rich Hill model, they gave up (216 + 84 + 67 = 367) for (182 + 157 + 56 = 395).  Clearly won that trade...

A bit surprised it was that far overslot, but expected that to be where a chunk of the savings went. The way they were talking I still kind of think Adams might sign, but I'm guessing he is the only one of the later round high schoolers.

Dang that is huge money for the 2nd rounder. When was the last time we went that much overslot during 1-10? Ever?

Guess if we can get one of Lege or the HS 3rd baseman we call it a day.

Makes me much more excited for the kid. Clearly went into the draft knowing we’d have to throw down for the guy we wanted.

2014 draft comes to mind when they went about 700k overslot for Monte Harrison.

Even that doesn’t compare. This is $1.2 mil over and significantly more than the 1st pick. Makes sense tho, they obviously considered him a bit of a risky sign to take him in the second so that if he didn’t sign it wouldn’t hurt the rest of the draft as compared to the 1st round.

Presumably, Misiorowski told teams he was going to LSU unless he got 1st round/CB Round money. Probably the only reason he was there at pick 63. It makes sense considering his upside. I'm still surprised it was THAT much overslot, though. With that said, now we know what the Brewers' brass thinks of him, making me believe he's a really good prospect.

By my count Brewers have little over $500k to use rounds 11-20 for bonuses over $125K rounds 11-20 if they want to pay the overage tax which they haven't jumped into since the 2018 draft. Probably can sign Petty without going into the overage tax, Adams would be a different story.

Thanks for putting the effort into the spreadsheet, that’s a helpful snapshot of where they’re at currently. I think last year they would’ve been into the overage tax had they gotten Roc Riggio to sign (which I still maintain they signaled having realistic hopes of doing so by taking him the 11th round).

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Great point about Riggio, I forgot about that whole ordeal of him looking like he was signing and then he didn't.
