Not able to watch live, but the walk to Lindor looked good on gameday.

On TV, too. Plus, they had the guy at second, but the ball popped out of Adames' gloves when he put on the tag.

It was a strike umpire is just blind or has an extremely tight strike zone but will more than likely be a strike in the next half inning because reasons.

TBF. It was right on the line and its messed up and poorly framed due to the steal and the catcher  moving and popping up.   Big missed call that could swing a lot, we'll see.  But chances are there will be worse missed ball/strikes in most games.

So first batter missed high inside strike. 3rd batter missed strike 3 vs walk on low inside strike.  Guess Freddy has to serve up meatballs to get strikes called. What a pinch on his zone.

Yelich gifted a 2-0 count. Watches 2 meatball strikes. Proceeds to strike out.  Adames meatball? High pop up.   Turang needs to be atop this batting order, he's done nothing but put good AB after good AB thus far.

Opening Day isn't even a sellout anymore, probably a bad sign for the franchise

Maybe, but it's Monday, the weather is just ok, they've already played 3 games...there's a lot working against this OD.

Not to go way off the rails but I'm feeling like the Brewers might be in a bit of trouble for a few reasons. The playoffs aren't the novelty they once were, there's fatigue, there's a basketball team in first place in the same town,  there's a bit of a sense that we can be good, but never good enough - "spoiling" some might call it. I don't know. Maybe it'll work out. But I see a lot of obstacles facing them right now.

It's way too early to be making changes to the lineup. Yelich also led the team in OBP last year and has a .400 OBP to start the season this year. Turang is a rookie who will inevitably experience his share of struggles.

The success is probably one of the bigger problems for OD turnout. It simply isn't the premium highlight of the schedule it used to be. Now you kind of hope/wait for some postseason games.

It is much like a regular midday game now. Inconvenient and in cold weather to boot.

In his ongoing quest to Wally Pip, Tyrone I am predicting an opening day cycle for Weimer with an OF assist just for good measure.

Nice start…

I think Bally's hurts the Brewers attendance as well.  Less than half of the state gets Ballys with their normal cable/satellite provider.  It sort of becomes out of sight out of mind.  When you can't watch the games, the casual fan probably attends less games.

Are Brewers games blacked out across the entire state?

Can fans without Bally’s purchase the MLB App subscription (which I’ve done for many years)?
