That’s horrible

So glad I live in Texas

There are ways of making MLB.tv think that you live in Texas...

Rowdy has been so frustrating this season. Chasing way too much so far.

Until proven otherwise, if I was an opposing pitcher facing current Rowdy: sliders down and in below the zone a good 9-12". He is chasing everything.

I stand corrected! Like wildcat83 - mind blown!

I just found a similar link, I never new it was measured to the back of the base! Makes sense that it's 3 in. closer to home then, since you wouldn't be changing the 90ft to the back of the base.

I think Bally's hurts the Brewers attendance as well.  Less than half of the state gets Ballys with their normal cable/satellite provider.  It sort of becomes out of sight out of mind.  When you can't watch the games, the casual fan probably attends less games.

I think this is part of it. I’ve heard multiple people say that since they can’t watch the games on tv anymore they don’t follow the Brewers very closely. The stupid MLB blackout rules are actually hurting popularity and attendance.

I keep Directv as my provider so that I can watch the Brewers year-round.

Turang is such a throwback, I love watching him play.

Just a fantastic all around baseball player. This start feels so good to the Turang believers and touters of the past two years. I couldn't imagine a better beginning and it is so wonderful to witness. He did everything the right way in the lower levels. Kept a level head. Continued to improve. And, here we are.

Yes, they are only available on Ballys, which has been dropped off of cable providers channel listings except for a couple.  In my area the only way I could get games through a cable provider is Direct TV.  Our city cable does not carry Bally's, which means the 3 bars in town don't have games on.  I used to have YouTube TV but they dropped the channel as well.  I subscribe to the Bally's streaming service but the casual fan won't.

How sad - I would go nuts without the Brewers each day

Yep. So refreshing to have a guy who gets on base and makes contact at the top of the lineup.

Cutch was way more predictable. I could go get something from the kitchen when he batted. He was no JBJ, but reliably bad.

My favorite part about all these hot starts is the fact we will all get excited and one of these hot starts is destined to be a total scam.

I know it’s only a few games into the season but I’ma big fan of the approach of these young guys. Hitting fired contact vs. trying for a home run is a much more exciting style of play in my opinion. Of course the rest of the team that’s still trying for home runs continues to strike out often.

Anyone can spend $20 a month to watch. It is accessible and anyone on planet earth with internet connection can watch the Brewers. Brewers baseball has never been more accessible and if you wouldn't own cable if not for the Brewers/Bucks it has never been more affordable to watch.

Are Brewers games blacked out across the entire state?

Can fans without Bally’s purchase the MLB App subscription (which I’ve done for many years)?

We purchase MLB Extra Innings and we can see every Brewer Game except those on You Tube.
