He is pressing and needs to be sent down to AAA.

Disagree. He's close imo. If he starts striking out in bunches, then you obviously do it. But for now let him try to work it out because of the value he's still providing on defense and on the basepaths.

If Frelick were lighting it up in AAA, I would agree, but he's not.

Over/under on Darvish Ks against this lineup?

I’d say 11.5.

Who had over?

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

No complaints as long as the score stays 1-0.

Can't complain too much after he rung up Cruz on ball 4.  Too much heart attack but a W is a W.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

Bases loaded, 3-2, 1 second on the pitch clock. Devin had to play us like that.

The magic of baseball: after 11-2 and 10-3, 1-0 on a bunt/violation balk/stolen base/sac fly.

Devin's change up was good. Padres just werent chasing.

Pretty big W, played Arizona hard but narrowly lost the series to come back and beat a contender on the road in a 4 game series after some deflating injury news. That is definitely big.
